A wind mitigation report is used to determine discounts you may be entitled to, based on construction features of your home. Things that have an effect on your eligibility include, but are not limited to roof shape, truss attachment, nail spacing, shutter type and roof age. Insurance companies are required by the state, to give discounts based on design and protection from wind damage.

A home inspection is a generally non-invasive and visual examination. All major components are tested and evaluated. Typical areas of the inspection include, but are not limited to electrical, plumbing, HVAC system, roof, attic, appliances, windows and more. The home inspection report is used to provide the buyer with the necessary information needed to move forward with the purchasing process.

A 4-point inspection is usually required for homes over 25 years old. The report is used by your insurance agent to determine their risk. This report will focus on four major areas of your home which includes electrical, plumbing, roof and HVAC system (heating, ventilation, air conditioning). Common problems noted on 4-point inspections are electrical hazards, aging roof, lack of plumbing shut-off valves and non-working HVAC systems.

Mold is everywhere, it occurs naturally, indoors and outdoors. Air sample testing is used to determine if there is a greater concentration of mold found inside the house in comparison to the mold outside the house. We collect air samples using techniques and equipment required by a third-party laboratory.
