Witnessing the wonders and pitfalls of western medicine at the bedside of hospital patients, she decided to go back to school to study Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), doing so fourteen years after she completed her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.

I would like to submit a review for my provider Lan Zheng L.Ac., Pharm.D. She works at Apricot Acupuncture & Wellness in Tustin. I am so very fortunate to have found her and to receive treatments from her. I have Multiple Sclerosis, and I have pain every day. I take medications for the pain, but recently my pain had gotten much worse. My pain medications were not covering my pain until it was time to take another pill. I was in more pain and doing worse than I had ever been.

Dr. Zheng is extremely good at what she does. She is incredibly kind and attentive to your comfort and needs. She goes above and beyond in making sure you leave feeling better than when you walked in. I have never had a bad experience here and don’t believe I ever will. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Zheng.

A few weeks ago, I experienced back pain so severe, I could barely tolerate sitting in a chair. Dr. Zheng treated me with acupuncture in the back and head areas. The treatment was not painful and lasted 15-20 minutes. After approximately one hour, my back pain was completely relieved and did not return. I would not have believed pain relief could occur so quickly had I not experienced it first hand. Dr. Zheng is the third and best acupuncturist I have sought treatment from in the past 20 years. She is a very conscientious and compassionate practitioner, and a skilled healer.

Earlier this year in 2019 I had injured my back and was able to receive acupuncture treatments from Lan Zheng. Happily my back progressed
from having to use a cane to get around to now being back to my normal routine. Lan also had advice on her approach to overall wellness which was of help in recovering.
Lan also treated my shoulder which had limited range of motion and was to be surgically repaired. Thanks to her treatment skills with acupuncture and her wellness approach, the discomfort of routine tasks & frequent pain at night are things of the past.

I had a headache and a slight fever when I went to Lan. I told her I wasn't feeling well. She put a total of 6 acupuncture needles on me and 30 to 40 mins later my headache and fever was gone. This was my first time getting an acupuncture treatment. I know it works because my aunt practiced acupuncture for over 30 years. I'm glad I went Lan because she listens and cares to help me get well. She takes the time to understand my pain and target it to relieve it. She's friendly and easy to talk to. I will definitely return to Apicot acupuncture and wellness for more treatments in the future.
