I was born and raised in Southern California. As a child and adult I have spent a great deal of time in the Auburn area visiting my grandparents who have lived in Auburn since 1950. I always knew I would someday live here too. My husband Ron and I moved to Auburn in 1994 because we love everything about living in the foothills.
Gene began her career in real estate when she and her husband Scott Bollinger moved to the Sierra foothills in 1985 and bought their first home on splitable land in Meadow Vista. One land split led to another and another and eventually to a real estate license in 1992. Gene studied for her license when their 3rd child, Laurel Bollinger, was a baby and 28 years later Laurel did the same with her first child!
