My mother in law was taken to the cape heritage after she fell and re-fractured her hip. She was in constant pain and we were referred to this place.
Well let me tell you that these guys really value her stay $$$. They go to any extent to keep her there as long as they can. Even after the doctor released my mother in law and we secured 24 hour watch so she is never alone, they withheld her pain medication saying they can not get ahold of the doctor in the middle of the day. My mother in law is really upset. they pay no attention to her and her well being. my wife needs to be by her bedside to

Physical therapy group was excellent. I had to learn to walk again after a brain tumor. Carlos was the best physical therapist I ever had. I walk great now. The only reason I didn't give it a five is the aides are the worst I have ever encountered. I was almost knocked on the floor a couple of times while they were helping me dress.

My husband was there after a knee replacement. He was going to come home directly from the hospital and do out patient rehab, but he had a horrible reaction from anesthesia and pain meds which set him back. They treated him like he had dementia. They took his callbelll from him and gave him a cow bell, they only showered him once a week..... and after giving him sha ing razors twice, they refused later and said his blood was to thin from warfrin.we decided after seeing his surgeon he should come home and do out patient, I gave them over 24 hrs notice, and they said I would be going against medical

Better off in a homeless shelter. The aids walk around shuffling their feet and when asked for anything even a clean sheet they act like their couldn't be bothered. Like "your getting paid...so do your job!" Worst care. They refused to get organized with their paperwork and when tests were ordered they were never done...even in urgent care situations. I do not see how this place is in business. I wouldn't go their if my limbs were falling off.

I am a resident at Cape Heritage Rehabilitation for over three months. I have seen a few things happen that would upset anyone that was part of it. And all the things were started by a Resident not a Cape Heritage employee or the establishment. The situations were dealt with accordingly and respectively by the administrator and the director of nursing. The nursing staff are all great ladies that do very well and know what they are doing.and are always pleasant to speak with. The activities department are all great people and do extremely well with what they do.
And thankyou you for one of the

My father was in the long term care in the basement. The number of patients to staff is very high (walk around and you will see). I respect the nurses and social activity people because they really cared about the patients. The social workers, physical therapists and upper level management did not unfortunately. To them everyone is a number and check box. They lost my father’s glasses on top of it and it took months before they got us a new pair. We moved my father to BayPath in Duxbury and he is doing much better since leaving this facility. If you are thinking about long term care I would not

The lack of staff and management oversight in the Alzheimer's unit is astounding. We pulled my family member from this place because they were neglectful and uncoordinated. Noone read up on his health conditions or gave his pain medication properly. We found a friendly and bouncy little old woman stuck in a stairwell trying to escape. The alarms were going off and no one bothered to come. I am in healthcare and was so taken aback by this place. It was disgraceful and people should take ownership of their problems. One nurse was verbally abusive and refused to care for my family member. They should
