If surgery is not indicated, proper medical recommendations are made. Our surgeons live in Falmouth and our patients are our community. Dr. Hopewood studied at Holy Cross College before receiving his medical degree from the University of Vermont. He was an intern and surgical resident at the Deaconess Hospital in Boston, and has practiced surgery at Falmouth Hospital since 1981.

Telephone calls and emails during regularly scheduled office hours will be handled by office personnel who, in most cases, can answer your questions directly or relay answers to you.

Here at Cape Cod Surgeons, P.C. we believe in providing top-quality medical care to everyone in need. If you are experiencing financial hardship, we ask that you make us aware of this before beginning treatment-we will arrange a special payment plan for you. Billing questions or difficulties should be directed to our billing coordinator.
We will do everything possible to schedule your appointment promptly. We appreciate how busy you are, however from time to time, our schedule may be upset when we respond to an emergency situation. If one of the doctors has to respond to an emergency, we will notify you before your appointment. When significant delays occur, you have the option of waiting, rescheduling or when possible, being seen by another of our surgeons.

I can't thank Dr Hopewood and his staff enough for the care they gave my son today! From the lovely ladies in the front office to the awesome nurse, they not only kept my seven year old calm but they did a super job with me. Dr. Hopewood was not only informative but had the patience of Jobe!! His knowledge of the Lego Death Star set was a bonus for my boy! Thank you all!
