Click the name of which seminar you would like to attend to register. Amy is available to speak at your corporation, church or organization at no charge (see lunch and learns here). Seminars are taught by The Amy Bonis Team in collaboration with Fannie Mae. Registration will begin 15 minutes before each seminar!

Your accommodation and flexibility during the planning of the event was more than helpful. I know you do not typically give housing/mortgage presentations to those who are new to the market, but you did so with great enthusiasm, personality and brought along a wealth of information. The collateral that you handed out made for great take home material, which I found extremely helpful, as I am sure the rest of the participants did as well.
There are many different down payment assistance programs for buyers right now. Some of them are suited towards first time buyers and some you can own other properties (so you do not have to be a first time buyer). If you are a first time buyer you may qualify and get up to $30,000 towards your down payment, closing costs and prepaid items.
If you are buying your first home, a Mortgage Credit Certificate (MCC) from the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency can put more money in your pocket and make your mortgage payment more affordable. This program has been around for 40 years and is an outstanding program. It almost got cut in the recent tax reform bill.

Started working with Amy's team last year. Amy is good but her coworker doesn't have good customer service. She treated my husband and I as if we couldn't afford a large mortgage. We realized Prime mortgage was the issue, they couldn't loan us a large amount without fitting all the pieces in their box...we realized they aren't a depositor like a large bank so I guess they must be selective in their clients. I debated posting a review for quite a while (months!) and I feel I have to. To preface this, let me say that I am a mortgage professional myself. I was in the process of getting a loan through the bank I was working at, and due to some requirements there, I couldn't get financed. I was referred to Amy Bonis through my Realtor.

As soon as you apply they follow up with you, email, phone call, texts, good communication before you actually meet this lady Amy. We got into an office which clearly is not her office, is like everyone's office, very small room with a very big tv/monitor where she reviews your paper work while she is speaking with you, first of all, a professional would had reviewed everything before they make you come. I will give you the only reasons why I didn't use Amy Bonis' for my lender.
1) when she called me I could hear that she was typing on her computer rather than listening to what I was saying. You could also tell she didn't listen to me and she explained things while she was obviously reading something. Bad first impression!
2) when she finished her email and she actually started talking to me she was very condescending and at one point actually insulted me by saying "well you know everything".
My advice is go to your credit union where the lender isn't getting paid

This team was tremendous - i'd use them every time. From the beginning they made my life easy by supplying abundant information. They were never pushy yet helped me to hit tight deadlines and they worked very hard to help me apply for certain government programs.
