If you didn't already know, our stylists are ridiculously amazing. Seriously! Not only because of the high quality work they do, but because they are fabulous inside and out. They exude happiness and confidence, the whole staff booming with positive vibes and personalities that mesh well with everyone!
We have pricing to accommodate every budget as well as a wide range of stylists. Prices vary among stylists based on their education, experience, and skill. Prices are also subject to change based on length of hair, hair density, and complexity of service. Our booking policy requires that an active credit or debit card be on file in order to hold an appointment.
From the moment you walk through the door and are greeted with a warm, genuine smile to when you walk out feeling pampered and polished, this whole experience is about YOU! Here, at Salon 241, we respect and value your individual style, preferences, and flair; aiming to always make you feel completely at home.
We are not taking on new Bridal clients however, we are still offering these services (based upon our availability) to current salon clients. We offer hair services (starting $95+) and makeup services ($85) for brides and their bridal parties. Depending on stylists' availability, there is an option of booking our services on-location.

I got a haircut at Salon 241 on December 23, 2021. I sent the email about my concern on January 13, 2022. Because I did not get a response, I called Salon 241 on January 14. The administrator told me that my email was not read and offered to solve this problem now with the hairdresser who cut my hair. The hairdresser sent the information through the administrator that it was too late to correct my haircut. The administrator told me that I could make a new appointment. I refused the offer.

I have 3c thin curly hair - my experiences with hair salons have never been that great - this time it was a JOY sitting in Carina's chair. She took her time with every single one of my curls - she shaped my hair according to my curl pattern, while my curls were dry (this is so important!). She was so attentive! I am so happy to have finally found someone to help me in my natural curl journey! Thank you Carina!

I have never had a personalized salon experience like this before. Carina heard what I wanted with my hair and figured out what my hair needed - identifying the texture and health. She used that information to give me the best cut of my life. She gave me tips on how to bring my curls out and how to keep my hair healthy. She even spent extra time with me. I am so appreciative of her skill and time! It is clear that Katie and Andrea have taken the time to cultivate a space that is warm, inviting, and a team that is truly talented. I am new(ish) in town and needed a presentation upgrade... BUT, I have curly hair. You can't just have anyone cut curls (especially when you're going shorter). Curly hair is a whole 'nother ballgame.
I put the word out and almost every curly girl in town recommended Sicca, and now I know why. She's your girl if you're working with the curl. My hair turned out so great. I am a wash and go person (don't even own a hair dryer) and this cut has not let me down yet. Also, if she judged me for my self-induced pandemic mods I never noticed.

I just returned home from my first haircut at Salon 241 and can't say enough about how positive the experience was. Every single person I encountered was kind and helpful, and the environment is hip, comfortable, and clean. I received a fantastic haircut from Jill Soller-Mihlek and look forward to returning in eight weeks. After living in the valley for eight years, I have finally found my go-to for hair care!
Update: Since writing my original review, I have had several more haircuts with Jill, and I've grown so spoiled by her hair skills that I can only hope she never changes careers or moves

My goodness, I cannot say enough good things about this salon! I took my 10 yr old daughter for a big girl hair cut and she was paired up with Kate, who I believe only started there that day. Kate was absolutely amazing with my daughter! My daughter who is usually very shy was chatting away the whole time. The whole atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and it's a gorgeous space. Everyone I spoke to were really lovely. We moved to the area last year and I have been looking for a salon for myself, I will definitely be making an appointment there soon!

Sitka did my make up and hair which is naturally curly for my daughters wedding. She’s amazing!
First time ever I loved my hair and makeup! Received so many complaints!
She turned my curly hair into natural loose curls and my makeup was not over done.
Wished she lived in New York I would use her on a regular basis.

I moved back to the area 2 years ago, and have been searching for a good salon, to no avail. I was even traveling back to CT over 1.5 hours away just for a decent haircut. The other day I got an impulsive urge to get a haircut and just try another place. I googled hair salons in Northampton and 241 came up on top of the search list. They were so highly reviewed and I decided to take a chance. I am so glad that I did. I saw Katie... and she did an amazing job! I ended up caught in a thunderstorm shortly after my appointment while meeting a friend for dinner and still they commented on how good

$50 for a hair cut but it was totally worth it. Prices vary ever-so-slightly depending on the stylist. The experience was wonderful. It was a little hard to find at first. You enter on Main Street a bit before the Masonic Street intersection, and you have to go up the stairs to get to the salon.
I got TWO washes with my cut. One at the beginning and one at the end to get all of the cut hairs out. Saved me the trouble of having to shower after a hair cut. Good conversation and great experience. I will be back!

What a find! This funky little salon was awesome! I booked a color appointment with Jill, who matched my color perfectly. There's an edgy fun vibe here, and I'd definitely come back and get a cut next time. Jill used a product on my hair (Eleven texturizer) that I bought and LOVE!

I've been to Salon 241 a few times, with mixed results. My first few times here were great. Kathryn gave me a great pixie cut, and took a lot of time to look at the pictures I had brought in to make sure she had a really clear idea of what I wanted. She stayed late to finish my cut, which is above and beyond what I expect of a stylist, but in hindsight, also shows that appointment slots should probably be longer.
My second time, Christopher did a fantastic job updating my grown-out cut into an asymmetrical pixie that was exactly what I wanted, and grew out great. As long as I kept the back

I've gotten my hair cut by Andrea since I moved here, almost thirteen years ago, and I followed her when she and Katie opened this salon. I wouldn't get my hair cut anywhere else. The space is really fantastic, great taste in decor and the vibe is very pleasant and relaxing, and the stylists and staff are friendly. They've always been super welcoming of my kids, too (they also get their hair cut there).
On the handful of occasions that I've had to get a cut from someone other than Andrea, I've left, without exception, happy with my cut. They really do hire great stylists

This salon is not what it claims to be, if you are looking for coloring help. I have brown hair, and I got it bleached to a white/silver hue over the winter. The roots were due, so I went for a consultation to meet the salon and the stylist, whom i expected to be an expert based on the reviews.
