Coming from the Bay Area (San Jose) it was hard finding a good mechanic shop in the area they have worked on 3 of my cars now, and I'm bringing the 4th one in for a smog soon! I even let them work on my classic El Camino, which Carey was very honest, quoted me a price, but when I picked it up it was half the quoted price, Carey said it didn't need up needing the other parts! So I was extremely grateful for his honesty, their workmanship is excellent, Carey, Josh and their staff have been very courteous, considerate honest, reliable, trustworthy and professional, they made me feel welcomed

We were really in a bind when our truck broke down on Saturday while were traveling and was towed to Oakdale Garage. Carey really went out of his way to take quick look at it to figure out what was happening Monday morning. Because it was so quick to fix it even cost less than the original estimate, and was done within an hour of when they began working on it.

Shannon and the guys at this place are awesome! I needed an alignment done as soon as possible as I had just had some new tires installed. They were able to squeeze me in to their schedule. Took only an hour. Awesome customer service, will definitely be back! Super transparent about pricing and they walk you through the work being done beforehand.

Our clutch broke 6 miles from Oakdale. We were lucky that AAA recommended us to use Oakdale Garage's services. They were awesome. Carey ordered the parts right away and was able to give us priority to fix the car in less than a day. Very nice service! Thanks for allowing us to enjoy the rest of our trip without delays and get back home safe.

Took my car in after the check engine light came on. Was charged 200 dollars when I got it back the next day.
Engine light came back on seconds after leaving the shop. He told me he didnt guarentee his work and I should take it to another shop.
Which is fine, if you can fix it just say I cant fix it. Dont take my car for the day and charge me.
When I asked what I payed for I was told, "I dont know anything about this car, Im learning. So I charged you for resarch."
So this guy basically got a lesson and some work experience on my dime. I still have to take my car to get fixed.

This place is by far the best automotive repair shop we have been to. I would like to thank the two people that we were directly communicating with and that is Carey and Tommy. Both were VERY professional, and very kind. They answered all questions and went above and beyond to show us and let us know exactly what should be done to the truck and did not pressure us into getting extra things fixed (which weve had that problem with past mechanics). Again very professional and HIGHLY recommended. If we could I would give them 10 stars. We Will definitely be going back and telling our friends and family

Excellent service got my husbands truck In got it all taking care off on a timely manor . My husband was have problems with his ac on his Ford f 350 it would blow cool air also had stopped working completely. They found the problem and got it done at a great price. Very friendly folks. If I could give negative stars I would. They charged me $170 for a part that cost $10. When I asked about it they said they couldn't find the part for that much. They are shady and pushy sales people. I went in for a check engine light and now my car is making noises that I didn't have before I brought it in.

My car broke its serpentine belt on Hwy 108 us out of Oakdale. I was very lucky to have chosen the Oakdale garage for my repairs. They had me back on the road in less then 2 hours and at very reasonable prices . I highly recommend Oakdale garage for your auto repairs. Wish we had someone like them close to me.

So my car battery went out on me and had to get a jump start. I drove my car to Steve's Chevrolet where I purchased 5 vehicles over the last few years and told them I'm late for work can you please install a battery. They said you could leave your vehicle all day and pick up later, so that wasn't an option. Driving through town knowing if I turn my car off it wouldn't start again so I pulled into Oakdale garage. They were very busy as well but went out of their way to get a battery and install it within an hour. I have to say they have earned my business and would recommend

Our Mercedes SUV lost power steering in Bear Valley when we went camping, we had AAA tow our SUV to Carey and his team at Oakdale Garage for repairs over the weekend and were surprised that by Monday morning everything was fixed (even though the garage is closed over the weekends).
Carey gave us a very reasonable price for the repairs and was very good about communicating with us every step of the way. He gave us a very detailed rundown of the issues, and how it was fixed. When we drove back to pick up the SUV that day, the owner gave us a tour and we found the shop to be very clean and organized

Unlucky to be taken to this place by tow truck driver. Repairs took 17 days. They take big markups on parts and won't disclose. Work was finished fine but they missed the oil pump.
Car has low pressure, it should have been caught. Very expensive bill for a one horse town.
I paid approx. 3 grand more than other good shops in the bay area would charge.

We've been going to this service garage for nearly 5 years. Each time we get great service, and a call before any repairs are made. We take both our car and truck to this garage regularly.
I highly recommend Oakdale Garage, Inc.
Of those 5 years, there has only been one time that we have not had our vehicle back within a couple of hours.
