DO YOUR RESEARCH before you find a real estate agent. I'm glad I did -- apparently, Matt Battiata has been disciplined for FRAUD, NEGLIGENCE, and other violations of real estate law. It seems like not many people know about this...

We attended a seminar presented by Matt and were so impressed we signed up for his services. We got great advice from his designer/stager and first class service from the contractors he recommended. We followed through with all of his suggestions to make our home saleable and got a full price offer the first week and closed within a month. Matt did a fantastic job advising us during the entire sale process identifying key fixes we needed to do prior to listing, timing for listing, scouting competing properties in the area, pricing correctly to balance speed of sale and value, and creating a strong demand for the property. We received multiple offers within 9 days of listing and closed escrow in 30 days at very close to our top asking price. I would highly recommend Matt and his team.

Matt went above and beyond what we expected. Every single thing he promised, he did. When he got us a great price for our home, he continued to negotiate to get us more. This extra effort brought him very little, but was for our benefit. He had to redo paperwork, and resubmit it, and work back and forth with the buyers agent for our benefit.
We interviewed other agencies before deciding to work with Matt. The others sent out beginning agents, that didn't seem to know what they were talking about. Matt came out at the initial meeting to go through the house and explain how he would work with us

I just short sold my condominium with Battiata as my agent. I was very pleased with their work from start to finish. They were extremely responsive, diligent, competent and hard working. We were extremely happy with our experience with Battiata Realty. We attended their short sale seminar and decided that was the route we should take…Battiata was there for us the entire process. We never even had to make a trip to their office…we did everything via the phone or email…which made it really convenient for us. I was considering a short sale and I attended a free seminar provided by Matt Battiata back in August of 2011. It was extremely informative and gave me several options. After my bank turned down my request to reconstruct my loan, I listed the property with Battiata to try and do a short sale.
