TLC (Tender Loving Care) Medical Centre is a family owned pharmacy that has proudly served the Aiken, SC and surrounding areas since 2003! TLC started out in a 160 square foot building owned by Zoom and Richard Heaton, and later had to move to a bigger facility.
Along with retail pharmacy, over the years we have added many services to continue serving our patients with the best possible care: compounded prescriptions and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy for individualized care; durable medical equipment; bubble packaged medications, medication therapy consultations, and medication synchronization to maintain medication compliance; diabetes education for patients; and immunizations to protect against influenza, pneumonia, shingles, and more.

Med Synchronization, also called med sync, is a program we offer here at the pharmacy to help synchronize your medication refills so that you will be able to pick up ALL of your medications on a single day each month.

It can be difficult to keep track of what medication you need to take and when. We offer a multi-dose packaging that bundles your medications together by date and time. For example, all your medications that are to be taken in the morning will be packaged together in one pack.

The people there are very nice. Professional and no lines unlike CVS or Kroger. They always have the prescriptions I need and Zoom has helped me with supplements that have given me energy and made me healthier.
I give them 4 rather than 5 stars just because I have come there on several occasions and they didn't call more than once to my dr to request a refill. I was left with the unpleasant surprise of having to scramble and get my dr to refill assuming they had taken care of it. Would be better service if they actually followed through until it is done.

First time at this store. Went looking for a transport chair, they didn't have exactly what we needed but had a holder that hooks onto chair for a cane. Neat idea, purchased and got home and realized that NOTHING you purchase from them is returnable! It's printed on the recipe and saw it when we returned home....so when the chair we ordered comes in and this doesn't fit we're stuck with a $30 part we can't use.

The owners are more worried about making money with saliva test, metabolic test, etc. I tried the saliva test and $450 later I was absolutely no better than when I started. They treat employees awful and every time you turn around they have new employees. So you can’t identify with anyone. I like to deal with the same people and they get to know me.

I was shocked by how rude the owner was. She helped an elderly couple in front of me (which took a long time), but once they finished she literally walked to the back without saying a word...literally leaving me standing there at the register waiting to pay for my product. Luckily she has great employees because 2 of them saw what happened, immediately ran up front to the register, apologized, and took care of me. This was my first visit and will be my last. I got the impression that this was typical behavior from the owner.

I don’t personally use this pharmacy but I am an occupational therapist and recommend To all of my patients go here for adaptive equipment. One of the best selection of up to date Home medical equipment. I stopped in one day met Richard, had a great experience and he said that if there was anything specific I ever needed for a patient to just let him know!

TLC.. (tender loving care) is what I have always received from Zoom, Lauren, and the rest of the staff! For over 15 year I have trusted TLC and they have helped me through a chronic illness. Patient care does not start or stop at your physicians office. This staff truly cares about the well being of the community and will go well out of the way to make sure you are taken care of. I fully trust their knowledge about my medications (sometimes your pharmacist knows more than your doctor about medications and side effects ect). This staff knows it's patients by name, not your RX number. Thank you again

I have been dealing with TLC for the past five years for much of my pharmaceutical needs. The owners and staff are always friendly and eager to help in any way they can. Each year I get my flu shot and it is always given cheerfully and quickly. When I have questions, I never hesitate to stop by and seek out answers to questions I have about various medications and home remedies. I highly recommend a visit even if it is to just look around or say hello.
