An estimated 50 percent or more of medications for chronic conditions, such as high cholesterol and diabetes, are not taken as prescribed. What do we mean by medication adherence? Simply put, it means to be committed to taking medication daily as prescribed by your physician. Medication non-adherence can lead to worsening health conditions, hospitalizations, and death.

I live part time in Aiken and part time in Il. My dog was on a new drug when we arrived that I needed to get filled by a compounding pharmacy here. I contacted Aiken Family Pharmacy and talked to Brandi who was extremely helpful on the phone to give me procedures to accomplish getting this drug filled. I went in to talk with her in person, and she was even more helpful with the different options for dispensing the drug to my dog, who is a little picky. After my vet in Il called in the script, she provided customer service above and beyond, to call me to tell me they had received the order and would

We have been customers of Family Pharmacy on Price Ave for many years.
I do not ever remember a pharmacy in my past that have been as excellent as this group is. Long before I was able to use Family Pharmacy, I knew Jay Watts, having met him at Cumberland Village where my mother was a resident. He is ever the gentleman, and he raised his daughter Brandy in the same manner. Brandy is the lead pharmacist at their Price Avenue facility.
All of the staff at either location is superb in dealing with their customers. My husband and myself hold them in the highest esteem, knowing they only have our

This pharmacy is the best of both worlds.2016 technology and knowledge of medications . prescriptions and over the counter and the person to person feel of a small town pharmacy. they ALWAYS have time to talk to you and answer your questions.and if by some chance they don't know an answer they will find it out for you.they except all of my insurance as it has changed over the years. And you don't have to wait in long lines like at kroger.they are extremely fast a filling your prescriptions.do yourself a favor and at the very least give them a try.you won't regret it.

Family Pharmacy is our family's go-to place in Aiken. Our loyalty was forever won when my mom had a very bad reaction to a flu shot. Brandi from Family Pharmacy called 3 times and personally delivered medicine herself twice. She even went into the office after hours to compound a specially-ordered medicine for my mom on a Saturday. No other pharmacies even returned our calls. This place is special, and we're so grateful to them.
