Dr. Shapero is a 1998 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and originally from the Pittsburgh area. She moved to Syracuse in 1998 to complete a General Practice Residency at Upstate University Hospital in the Division of General Surgery. She has practiced in the Syracuse area since 1999 and has owned her current Baldwinsville location since 2004.

I have had a fear of going to the dentist from childhood due to past experiences. However as much as I was anxious about going, I ended having a pleasant, relaxing and positive experience in every aspect of my visit. I truly was impressed and relieved to find all the measures taken and adaptations in the office to address Covid, creating a safe environment.
