Let me tell you a little about myself. My parents were immigrants from Greece, and eventually our family settled in Camillus where I was raised. I am a graduate of the University of Buffalo School of Dentistry, where I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. I have a diverse and, for a dentist, unexpected background.

Overall, only positive experiences thus far. The staff are friendly, the work done is reasonable (ie they aren't going to give excessive treatments if not needed), and they are fairly gentle while working.
I can't personally think of any critiques, so if you're looking for a new dentist in the area I'd give them a call.

Terrible experience it took him 2 1/2 hours to pull 10 teeth With little distraction,,,he had assured me he could pull them and I paid him $4500 up front for the extraction and two sets of dentures. But I had to go to a surgeon to get 3 of them extracted. Including one that he broke another $1033.00 for that..He still owes me a couple appointments I think...not sure anyway....he never gave me the option of implants until after he got his money . BTW they will try to charge you for all planned work on your way out....don't pay it I am going to accept the monetary loss and go elsewhere....I'm sure

I just started going to Dr. Pateras. I wish I had started going to him many years ago!!!! He was very thorough, kind and helped me to relax. I usually get anxious when at the dentist but I was calm after talking to Dr. Pateras. Jen and Christina were great as well!!
My first appointment consisted of X-rays and a gum exam. I’ve never had anyone check my gums so thoroughly. I have several old fillings and have had inflammation in my gums for a while. I get my cleanings every 6 months and never had a dentist offer a deep cleaning of my gums. Dr. Pateras did. I feel like I’m in great hands. After

I went here to get dental work done and was charged in excess I feel yet the work had only been done for 6-8 months before the bridge fell into my mouth. When I called the office to see what my options were or what they offered to do I was told that since I no longer lived in the neighborhood there was nothing they could do. Yet they had my money and didn’t offer to refund a percentage or anything or recommend me to another in my new location. Just unprofessional and no bedside manner. Will never recommend going forward. Just a disgrace!! No!! I know this is the correct location I still have

Had my wisdom teeth removed today- the dentist was willing to complete there versus seeing a surgeon because mine weren’t complicated. Very easy, was shocked after the first one was pulled! I have never had such a positive experience at a dentist office before (I’m a fairly new patient at this practice) especially given that this was for the wisdom teeth extraction. Highly recommend this dentist -

Ugh! Who really enjoys going to the dentist? Definitely not me! I breathe and I get a cavity and I am one of those that never "feel" the cavity till it's gone so far to be a root canal- I guess I'm a dentists dream or nightmare.
We know it can be super unpleasant so it's important to find someone who will make a unpleasant experience a pleasant one.
Dr Chris and his staff do just that! They are super efficient, informative and dare I say painless?!

I have never been overly fond about going to the dentist. So, I have not been in many years.
Yet, Chris Pateras, D.D.S., and his staff are awesome. I have been going to him for over a year now. This dentistry is very clean modern and excelled in making me feel welcome. The Dential Hygienetists have been great about explaining everything and working with my insurance.
