The law offices of Gacovino Lake was established in 1993 by two attorneys, Steven Gacovino and Edward Lake. These two men met in law school earning their degrees from the Touro College Law Center. What started as a friendship grew into a professional pursuit to serve the rights of injured victims. After graduating in 1992 they formed their partnership and started what we now know as Gacovino Lake.
Gacovino, Lake & Associates, P.C. is proud to award one student a $2,500 scholarship for creating the most engaging and convincing public service announcement (PSA) related to stopping teen JUUL use. This scholarship is open to incoming college freshmen, college students, or graduate students. The winning student will submit the best JUUL risk PSA before the deadline, as well as meet other criteria.

Im so grateful that I found this law firm. It was my first time going through a lawsuit so I was very nervous and uneducated. They worked with me from beginning to end. Even through the pandemic we managed to get things done. Even when I was impatient with them they was always patient with me (sorry Doug). Always responded promptly. Everything went much better and faster than expected. Made everything easy for me, which in itself made it worth it to use them. I’ve told a few people about the amount they got for me and basically everyone has said, “You must’ve had a really good lawyer.” I’d agree that I did have a great team.

Called Gacovino office and explained my situation. Steven Gacovino stated they have worked on many similar cases and eager for my signature.. Only to find out after receiving my signature they were referring my case to another law firm. Apparently they DO NOT WORK on cases in my situation. Just said that to receive part of my settlement without any work . Never had any correspondence from them for over 6 years and now they are receiving 33%....Beware .

Mr. Steven Gacovino took my case after a pharmaceutical company nearly killed me with a dangerous medication. My physician, a local ER staff were unaware of the side effects of this dangerous widely prescribed medication.
