At Lentz Eye Care, we believe that our continued success is a direct result of adhering to our three guiding principles: Technology, Quality and Service. The integration and use of advanced technology is an important part of what separates us from other optometric clinics. In our eye exams we make use of the latest diagnostic technology, including Optos Laser Retinal Scanning, Macular Pigment Density Scanning, Specular Microscopy and OCT.
Dr. Thomas R. Lentz was born and raised in Wichita where he graduated from Wichita Southeast High School in 1969. He went on to Pittsburg State University where he received his undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Microbiology. Dr. Lentz received his Doctorate degree in Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 1976.
Lentz Eye Care is proud to operate a full service optical lab in the Rock Road office. The focus of our lab is to create top quality ophthalmic lenses for your glasses and get the finished product back to you in the quickest time possible. Our lab takes great pride in the quality of its workmanship.
You will be pleased to know that Lentz Eye Care accept most vision insurance plans. We would be happy to obtain insurance eligibility from your vision insurance provider before your next appointment. If you would like us to do this simply call and let us know. This will allow us to tell you what your co-pay will be, or let you know of any material benefits that you can use.
Everyone in the office treats you as someone special. They explain everything that they are doing as well as what they are asking you to do. Dr. Mandy Longoria shows & explains all the results and compares them to previous results. She walks you through amy changes & discusses options. There is nothing too small for the staff to do to make sure you are satisfied; tweak your eyeglasses so they fit better is just one item.
