Everyone was so friendly and warm when I came in for my first visit! I must say, I was rather apprehensive to be going back to the dentist for the first time in way too long... and dealing with my insurance had been such a nightmare, but all that went away as soon as I got their office on the phone. The reception was helpful and proactive. The technicians were knowledgeable and did everything they could to provide extra help. I used this Dentist 11 years ago and he fixed a problem with my gums that no other dentist could solve. I decided to switch back to him because my other dentist was too expensive. I made an appointment for me and my wife but I wrote down the wrong date. When my wife and I showed up and realized we had the wrong date, the dentist generously accomodated both of us and had us out of there in just over 1 hour.

Dr. Tingilian saved the day!!! My front tooth broke and I had an event the next day. Dr. Tingilian didn't hesitate to see me & treat my tooth even with an hour notice. My family, friends, & co workers have been his loyal patients for almost 2 decades now and will never switch to another DDS. The doctor isn't just amazingly, so are his staff! My crown fell out from another dentist and I hadn't been to Comfort care in quite a while... just life and ended up someplace else... but i called to see if by chance they would put it back in for me as the place I was going could not and they took me and put me back together again. By and large the best dentistry I've ever been to. The staff is amazingly kind and helpful. The hygienist Armen (Armin?) was incredibly professional and explained to me everything as he was doing it, which really helped with my anxiety. Not to mention that he performed the deep cleaning I was there for with expert precision and sensitivity.
Could not recommend them more! Especially if you have anxiety about going to the dentist and needles like I do.

I was so happy to find this dental office. The staff was courteous and efficient. Dr. Tom was amazing, thorough and he didn't want to do procedures just for the sake of making money, (which he could have) he took care of my needs first.
The dental hygienist was the best I have ever had!! I have always had pain and discomfort getting my teeth cleaned. I had not one moment of pain and he was very thorough.
I cannot recommend them enough. I have found the perfect dental office.

Not many people would consider a visit to their dentist a pleasant experience, but since I discovered Comfort Dental Care a few years ago, I actually look forward to having dental work done by Dr. Tom who, in my opinion, is one of the best dentists “in town.” Due to his amazing competence and professionalism, each time I leave with better looking teeth than I when I came in! I have been getting dental work done by Dr. Tom for years . He always hires the best staff and has a personable disposition. Whereas some dentists will let you go with average work, Dr. Tom maintains a high standard. My dental plan doesn’t include him. And I’m gladly paying for his services, because he”s the best.

Dr. Tom is what we call him. He has been our family dentist for years now. They treat us like family. My son just had braces and I was expecting it to be a traumatic experience. My son never complained once. He treats our son as if he is treating his own son. The dental hygienists have always been gentle and kind. Had a bad experience here a few months ago which I thought I'd share in order to maybe save some people from getting this kind of work done here.
I asked for veneers which ended up being made crowns. The dentist who did them (won't name names, you know who you are) told me that "veneers and crowns" are interchangeable terms. Enough said.

Love love love this dental office. Mark and Maria are very friendly and helpful. I am back to braces (3rd time)due to non compliance with retainers. The experience with Dr Tom was pain free and just on follow up appointment I was told they will remove it in 4 weeks. I'm beyond happy and grateful. My husband found Comfort Care Dental by total accident, and it's honestly been the best accident we've had. The facility is cozy and has plenty of parking (a huge plus here in LA!), and the reception team is so nice. Dr. Tingilian and his team are wonderful, and have worked extensively with us to figure out my husband's teeth, how to bill our insurance, and how much every single treatment costs. Dr. Thom has been my dentist for several years now. Working thru teeth removals, caps, and finally braces. I like the office is capable of doing everything but root canals, for my teeth. The teeth cleaning I get is performed very professionally and gently by a caring man!
The staff is the best group of people I've encountered in a small family practice. Very attentive to your needs, very knowledgeable of all processes, and can answer your questions and calm your nerves.

Refreshing when a Doctor has a better way to help patients than really expensive treatments. I was charged $45 for a treatment that was explained to me as optional, but research had shown to be as effective if not more than the $800 treatment that my last 2 Dentists insisted that I needed. They use high tech equipment which means that treatments and procedures are quicker and less invasive. I only gave 4 stars because I always believe that we can do better and should strive to improve, but overall it was a great visit and I am a tough patient to impress.

PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING THEM! The office is small and oddly located. Went in here twice because of the proximity to my house, once for my first cleaning and x-rays and then the second time for my regular 6 month cleaning which I confirmed is $0 through both the dental office and my insurer. When I arrived, no one greeted me or spoke with me and awkwardly avoided eye contact until I had to ask them 10 minutes after my appointment time if they needed me to check in. Dr. Tom and the the Ladies are all absolutely a pleasure and delight eveytime I have an appointment. I started going with this office because my last dentist was just not up to standard. Here, I am extremely happy with the job they have done for me. I know that I will be loyal to this practice till my work is completed. Just thinking of that makes me sad.
