Dr. Manisha B. Geiger provides comprehensive optometric care with an emphasis on pediatric optometry, binocular vision disabilities, vision development, vision therapy, and neuro-rehabilitation. Dr. Geiger received her Bachelor in Science from SUNY at Stony Brook in 1992 and her Doctor of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry in New York City in 1996.
She completed an externship in pediatric and vision therapy at Beth Israel Hospital in New York, during which she expanded her knowledge of amblyopia and strabismus diagnosis and treatment and perceptual skills training. It was here, after caring for children with special needs that Dr. Geiger realized her true passion.

I was very disappointed in the staff they took all of my sons insurance information allowed me to take him in for the appointment and then after he was done they told me his insurance was not excepted there ..had they came told me that earlier I could have made the decision to either accept or take him somewhere where his insurance was accepted!!! but they did not give me that choice so I felt like they withheld the information until after the appointment was complete so I ended up paying out-of-pocket which I thought was a very disservice to me I would not recommend this office… And then the

This team is top notch!! I was in from out of town and needed emergency eye treatment. After calling 20+ optometrists on a holiday weekend with no luck, Optimum Vision was able to see me immediately. A quick visit later and a prescription for steroid eye drops I was on my way and able to enjoy my trip. They also gave me several eye drop samples, sunglasses, and enough contacts to get me through my weekend. Thank you team at Optimum Vision & Eye Care!!

Dr. Geiger and her genius minions are my super hero's! I had been tossed around by doctors, been misdiagnosed and told I just had "anxiety" because my test results are normal. I finally found the right neurologist who diagnosed me with "Vestibular Migraine" and suggested I see Dr. Geiger for some vision cognitive training. I was able to get in pretty quick with her and she put me in her therapy program right away! After 16 sessions of therapy, I finally graduated and have been able to live pretty normally than I was before. My vertigo and migraine symptoms are under control and I couldn't be more

My teenage daughter has been referred to Dr.Geiger by another pediatric ophthalmologist. Within an hour she was able to diagnose her problem and layout a course of treatment to help fix her vision issues that has evaded us for years. The entire staff is wonderful, lovely and so helpful. I would highly recommend to anyone big or small, young or old.

Disappointing experience today at Optimum Vision and Eye Care. I came into the office with my paperwork already filled out as a new patient eager to support a local female business owner. The eye exam itself was fine, but I felt a shift in energy from Dr. Geiger when I told her I did not see any frames that interest me in her office. As I walked out the exam room back into the lobby I noticed she did not say anything along the lines of "have a nice day" or "thank you for coming in" or "look forward to seeing you again". But, what really sealed the deal for me NOT to patronize this business again

Dr Geiger and her staff are dedicated to providing excellent eye care. My optic nerve was damaged due to its proximity to a brain tumor that was destroyed during an operation in 2015. My right eye was also damaged. I was referred to the Dr after a subsequent eye surgery in 2017. Her work has made my vision more stable and has greatly improved the control I have on my right eye. The staff is professional and personable. I highly recommend her services to anyone in need of eye care beyond glasses.

Absolutely amazing service! I have worn glasses for 32 years and nobody has ever spent so much time taking measurements of the glasses to my eye as they did. If you are looking for the best service, this is your doctor. This is my first experience where someone didn't just go say "go look for frames you like". Instead, they personally explained frames that would help me see the most and where my hit would fit.
