At Ironwood Eye Care, our goal is promote good eye health and enable you to have the clearest vision possible. We accept several types of vision insurance, cash, checks, and most credit cards. We inform our Scottsdale patients about exam and treatment costs at the beginning of your appointment. If you require a breakdown of costs, please let us know.
Talented optometrist Allison Wooten, OD, is the owner and lead optometry care provider at Ironwood Eye Care in Scottsdale, Arizona. Dr. Wooten offers comprehensive eye care and has extensive advanced training in glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, dry eye, diabetic retinopathy, and other complex eye conditions.
The bright, talented Nha Cao is one of our amazing doctors. She grew up in Texas and began her secondary education in 2009. She earned her Bachelor's Degree of Biology with a Minor in Health from the University of Houston in Texas, and then went on to obtain her Doctor of Optometry Degree from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona.

Being new to Arizona amid a pandemic has been tough to find new doctors! Dr. Wooten’s staff was super helpful finding an appointment time that fit my schedule and wasn’t 3+ months out like a lot of other appointments/doctor’s offices. Everyone was very kind and helpful throughout the process of my appointment! Dr. Wooten is amazing and was thorough in her explanation of everything, including helping me understand my options!! At the end of the day, I got some glasses to help with work and reading, and I am so excited!
