At Levison's, our task is to fulfill our clients' desire for an ideal piece of jewelry---whether it exists clearly in mind or not. Along with you, we consult clarity, color, carat weight, cut, and cost to arrive at a perfect match that is GIA-graded. For the most part, jewelers sell only what they have in stock.
We prefer, however, to cast and hand-make what the client truly prefers. In association with our company, Gemological Laboratory Service Inc., we appraise retail insurance replacement, fairmarket, liquidation, and other valuation types. Jewelry and gem inspections are performed at our Coconut Grove laboratory or on-site with our portable laboratory and client present.

Services
Levison's Jewelers opened its first jewelry store as Schwartz and Levison's in Albany New York in 1888. Milton Levison Sr. and Martin Preager opened the business next to the Capitol hotel in downtown Albany. A few years after the retirement of Milton Sr. in 1958, Milton Jr. moved the company to downtown Miami, Florida.

I have known Dave Levison since the mid nineties. We had done many business transactions in the past including Estate appraisals. When it came the time for me to propose to my long time girl I had no hesitation in calling Dave. My ex girlfriend, now fiancé used to own a jewelry store for many years, she knows her diamonds. Dave took special care to choose the right diamond and setting. When the moment of truth came forth, she was so impressed, delighted and satisfied. We are a recently engaged couple, but unfortunately the ring was a size too big. We called a few of the popular jewelry stores in the neighborhood but everyone kept saying it was going to take around 2 weeks and weren't able to give a quote over the phone. Obviously with the new excitement of it all, 2 weeks was way too long to go without the beautiful ring on my finger ;).
We found Levinson's here on yelp and decided to call and we were told it'd be either same day or 1 day turnaround! We headed over there and were instantly greeted

Within two weeks, Dave and Andrew had found the diamond and created a mold of the setting to preview. Erika and I met to preview the mold and confirm the purchase. The ring was ready shortly afterwards, and upon our final meeting, Levison's ensured that the ring was made to my satisfaction

While looking for the perfect engagement ring Levison's jewelry was highly recommended. Dave the owner is an gemological expert with certificate from GIA (gold standard for diamond certification). Not only is he a true experts in the field but extremely patient and will work with you until you have the perfect ring. World class craftsmanship and finish. I could not be any happier with the ring. Truly amazing work. Trust his expertise, won't find a better jeweler elsewhere. He will get you the best ring hands down. I did a LOT of research and all his recommendations where right on point.

I came to Levison's to get the diamond from my new engagement ring appraised, after calling several others around the area. The other jewelry stores that I called said I would have to leave my diamond with them for 3-4 days. I was hesitant at first because there were no Yelp reviews, but I had the best experience and would highly recommend them!
