Rita's Catering provides Memorial & Funeral catering services for the El Cajon and San Diego areas. The skill set for an off-premise caterer like us compared to restaurants who provide catering can be tremendous. Rita's Catering is 100% focussed on the task at hand providing our clients sumptuous catering. A restaurant providing these same services is normally not as well trained or versed to provide the highest quality off-site catering.

Rita's is the contract caterer for the El Cajon Elks Lodge. I had a birthday party with 100+ guests. I ordered the 2 street taco buffet including, coffee, iced tea and water. The food was delicious! The service at the event was excellent. Wait staff cleared plates and kept our table carafes full. We had two buffet lines that went fast even though the tacos were made to order. Food was kept warm so my performers could eat after their act.
Shawna and Christie were very accommodating with whole room set-up, beyond the serving and guest tables! They even provided a covered table for my own desserts

The company catered my grandsons baseball closing ceremonies. The food was excellent. They offered 3 kinds of TJ tacos, complete with guac and onions chips and salsa. My problem was with the service. there were clearly 500 plus people at the event and it took at least 30 minutes standing in the hot sun to get your plate. They had 3 tables set with servers. but each table had one serving beans one serving rice and one making your requested tacos.. It was a huge time loss. and standing in the hot sun waiting for food was difficult being as people standing in line would have them fill 3 to 4 plates

Have attended two dinner buffets catered by Rita's Catering. The food is always fresh, well prepared, nicely presented and most importantly, it's delicious! They give nice portion sizes and if it's a buffet, you can always go back for seconds. Their staff has always been attentive, professional and very polite. I've attended buffets at higher end hotels and the food and service from Rita's is better by far. Attended another tonight at the El Cajon Elk's Lodge, everyone at our table raved about the food and good service.
I would highly recommend this company!
