I am so grateful that I was able to get a last minute appointment. I've been traveling full time and don't ever have time to sit and get my hair cut and styled.

She was honest about how much hair I should cut off, recommended products and made the payment process so easy. (She takes venmo!)

I'm always so nervous to cut my hair, I completely trusted her with my locks. She added so much volume, bounce and life back to my hair.

I recently moved to Amarillo and needed a hair cut. When you first move to a new place finding all of your new "people" can be daunting. I found Vuja on Yelp and called to make an appointment and was set up with Mimi the same day. I can not say enough about her! She took her time, listened to what I wanted but also gave her expert opinion, had great conversation, and made me feel welcomed to a new town! I love my hair cut and plan to regularly go back to her too! Fair prices and wonderful atmosphere. Can't recommend Mimi and Vuja enough!

My experience here doesn't even deserve 1 star, to be completely honest. I went in for a cut so that I could donate my hair. I specifically asked for 8 inches to be cut off, no more than 9 and showed Mimi a picture of what length I had my hair cut to previously when I had donated it. She braided my hair and cut off a 12-inch braid, which unbraided is probably about 13 inches or more and 5 inches more than I asked for. As soon as she cut it, I could tell she cut it WAY too short. Mimi is your girl for color! I've been lots of places looking for the right hair stylist, and I finally found Mimi. Mimi really knows how to preserve the integrity over-processed hair while still giving you what you want. Mimi is a rock star!

I've been going to Mimi at this salon for about a year and every visit tops the last. All of her cuts are excellent. I look forward to going in to visit and catch up and knowing that my hair is going to look so good when I leave.

Ruth exceeded my expectations on the hair cut I asked for! She cut my hair the way I asked and she did it the way my long bangs, that looked a bit out of place with my previous hair style, now lay great within the new style.
When I came in, she already was waiting for my, so the timing was perfect for both of us. I would definitely come back to see her!

I made an appointment with Mimi Barnard, and she was absolutely wonderful, as a hairstylist and as a person. I was worried about finding a new hair professional (I recently moved to Amarillo from Midland), so I read the raving yelp reviews for this salon and thought I'd take a leap of faith. Not only did Mimi correct my horribly brassy box color with a beautiful new blonde, but she was so much fun to talk to throughout the whole process! I was passing through town and needed a haircut badly.
The salon put me in touch with Shannon who was able to see me the next day. Shannon did a cut, style and color and I was so very happy! She's very professional and easy to converse with. If I'm ever close to Amarillo again, I would definitely go to her again!

Lisa is awesome went to her after someone really messed up my hair. She fit me in on the same day and gave me exactly what I asked for it looks better than the pics I brought for her. She worked fast and we had great conversation the whole time I will post pics soon! And I will definitely be back

Yelp led me to Lisa at Vuja de--and I'm glad it did. She's now my go-to girl for my hair needs when I'm in Amarillo. I have fine hair; not everyone can work up a stylish cut with this type and texture. I had an early appointment, and she was on time--first plus. Then she listened, analyzed the situation and went to work. It's clear to see why she has such good reviews. Very pleased.

Appointment with stylist Jacquelyn -

I showed up for my appointment right on time and she did a quick consultation (which I appreciated) but when she was done she told me she needed to take a smoke break and left. I felt it was incredibly unprofessional to take time out of my appointment to smoke... She should have done that before I showed up.

Over all, the cut and color was nice. I feel like she did a really good job on my hair, so despite the unprofessional behavior, I had planned to return - I even tipped her an extra $15 (she only takes cash and all I had was a $100 bill so I just told

If you care how you look (who doesn't?), then you should be a regular on Chas or Lisa's book! Chas is one of the best in the business for men's cuts, and Lisa swings both ways (men and women cuts...get your mind out of the gutter).

Trust me...I wouldn't be this attractive without them!

Palm Pritchett is an incredible hair stylist. He did my hair for a few years before I moved away from Amarillo in 2006. I'm back in the area now & I've been going to him again & he's awesome. He does great color, highlights, & cuts.

I found Vuja De through Yelp and i was also lucky enough to get Lisa on the phone she did my hair and my sisters and my mothers and we all loved how it turned out, Lisa is extreamly nice and a great stylist! also plus for any spansh-speakers, she speaks spanish! i highly recommend you ask for Lisa at Vuja De the next time you need a haircut!

Overall, a pretty good experience. I'm new in town and was scared to let anyone touch my hair, but this place put me at ease. Lisa is a good colorist and stylist. I'd recommend the salon.

This is an amazing salon. The staff is very friendly and the facilities are very clean. It is a warm and inviting place where you can relax. Palm Pritchett is fantastic and always knows exactly what I want for my hair. He is a wealth of knowledge for hair care. Lisa does a great job with eyebrows. They always come out perfectly. Like a previous reviewer, I travel the country and finding a good stylist is often difficult. I hadn't gotten a haircut for three months and it was driving my crazy. While in Amarillo, I looked on Yelp to locate a nearby salon to see if I could get a fast appointment.
