A stylist for more than 12 years, Sarah is a graduate of the Milan Institute of Cosmetology and a licensed instructor. Raylynn graduated from the Milan Institute of Cosmetology in 2006, and later earned her Instructors License in 2014.

Services
To create your signature look, we consider both your haircut and color. Whatever your goal, may it be to refresh and seal in shine, touch-up regrowth, enhance your current tone, blend or cover gray - we custom-blend a color that gives you a complementary, balanced and beautiful look. We use color placement techniques to enhance our signature cuts and color services.
When you arrive at the salon, we will be there to greet you, and your service will begin with a 15 minute in-depth consultation. During this time we will create a unique, customized plan specific to you, that not only covers your first visit, but also a long term plan to ensure that all of your hair goals are met.
Earn points and get rewards! For every dollar you spend in The Salon, you earn points which can then be redeemed for services or products. To start earning points, give your email address to the front desk. Each fragrance evokes an individual mood and embodies its own unique identity. The fragrances transport the wearer to dreamlike destinations, for a true sensorial experience.
The Salon Associate Program is a comprehensive hands-on experience that provides training. The Salon by Lora Brown strives to train our staff to become successful stylists and business professionals. We have joined the Summit Salon Business Center training program in order to help stylists learn to build a salon business with continued education and business coaching.

Sarah is great. She works hard to make sure I love my hair. She's very personable and remembers her clients details from appointment to appointment...like things/people from their lives. I know this is a skill she's cultivated and she's good at it.
Everyone I've dealt with at The Salon has been pleasant, professional, and good at their job. I've enjoyed coming to The Salon and am very glad I've found a person who does a great job on my hair and my daughters hair

I liked that I was shown around and that the process being done on my hair was explained step by step. Also enjoyed the snacks. I also really liked Raylynn. It was my first time seeing her and going to the salon. She did a great job and explained everything being done. Really appreciated the great job and the professionalism.

The thought and care that they put into their coronavirus precautions truly made it feel like the customers and the employees were all being taken care of. It was extremely refreshing. I gave The Salon by Lora Brown 5 stars because it totally deserves it! I have been to a lot of salons here in Amarillo and just could not find the right one and the right stylist, until I met Raylynn!!! Raylynn is such a professional and absolutely knows what she is talking about and what she is doing!!! I love when people are passionate about their job and furthering it. The Salon by Lora Brown stands out from all the other places I have been right from the beginning to the very end of you appointment!!! Plus (bonus) they have followed up with me to see if I love my hair and if anything needed

Raylynn did a great job with my hair. She was also friendly and personable. I didn't have the best experience with the last stylist (whom I tipped very well, by the way, despite her being rude to me), so when that person didn't return my calls for another appointment, I lucked out and got Raylynn. I'll be calling her again soon.

Raylynn was so professional and courteous. We walked through the game plan together. She listened to my concerns and had answers for every one of them. Everything was explained in step by step detail. The salon was beautiful! Very modern, clean and organized. And I loved the way the product made my hair feel like new again !!!
