Most machines don't work, weights aren't racked. Equipment is extremely outdated, broke or about to reach their limit. Seats are torn and falling apart. Price is $150 down payment and daily fee is $10. You're better off driving to lifetime fitness for a premium fitness center for less than the price.

Supporting local businesses is important to me and my family. Thats why we chose this gym in our town. There is a lot of broken equipment at this time ( Fall 2021) and posted class schedule changes/cancelation without notice. So, if youre heading to the gym for workout classes, call ahead to confirm. I want to love this place!! Im hoping the broken equipment is replaced soon and classes occur as scheduled or the schedule is updated to accurately reflect classes offered. #supportlocal

My last visit there was about 3 weeks ago, only one out of 5 treadmills work. The spin bike is horrible. The bathroom and shower area is out of the dark ages. The weights and related lifting equipment was all OK, space is a bit tight. Glad I only joined on month to month basis. Will head there today and end my membership and keep searching for a good gym. I do confess that I am spoiled by high quality gyms from other parts of the US.

Eight treadmills and only one works! It’s been like this for couple months now. Two bottles of sanitizer in the entire gym so hardly anyone cleaning down equipment. After front desk attendant leaves people just open the door for friends who aren’t members so it gets packed. Not worth $45 a month.

In my opinion this gym is not worth the pricey $50 a month. 1 out of 8 treadmills don’t work and almost all of the dumbbells in the main room have the numbers rubbed off so you have to guess which weight you are grabbing. Half the time there is no one at the desk so you have nobody to ask questions or voice concerns. On top of all of this the parking lot is poorly lit at night and is full of pot holes.

This place sucks. Equipment hasn't been working. Called and asked when they'd get fixed. Soon they kept saying. 1 or 2 treadmills would work. Some you couldn't even slow down without canceling your workout. Front door didn't close at night. That's a safety issue with many wackos nowadays. The girl at the desk wrote down my reason for canceling was "not using" I crossed it out and wrote bad Equipment 😅 that way we both had the right reason on file. Took my business elsewhere. It's too pricey to have to switch up ur workout plan since they have limited equipment..

I decided to cancel my membership last year in either October or November I believe of 2020. I had called and told them I would like to cancel, they told me I needed to go in to do so. I went in to the gym and told the girl that was in the front that I would like to cancel. She had me sign a paper and that was it. I was never given a copy of anything. Months later now in February almost March, I notice today I had a transaction from them, they had charged me!?!?! I checked the previous months and they had charged me for those months as well. Weights/weight machines are good. Cardio machines all need work. Seems like every treadmill has an issue, tried most of them. Several get stuck where the slow down button doesn't work at all. Others will just turn off in the middle of a run saying error 29. Some of them stutter while running as well. The stair master is good but the bikes need work as well. Last few times i came there was no working water fountain or other water available.

Absolutely love the staff, but the gym does need some work.
It's super hot in there because they have no blinds on windows to help keep the sun heat out, the machines are older but work. Some of the cushions need replacing due to rips. Treadmills are dated and a couple are broke. But it definitely works for a gym close to home.

I have been a member at Blu Edge throughout 2020. They were closed during quarantine, but opened as soon as they could. It is an awesome gym and everyone there is friendly. The equipment is good and the fact that it isn't overly crowded means I can go in and get my workout done without a lot of jostling for a machine or a bench. Wish there were more squat racks, but what they have is great. This is a very clean gym and the equipment is in good shape. The previous gym I went to was more of a social hour and it was always difficult to get my workout done because it was so crowded. Blu Edge

IGNORE 1 STAR COMMENTS!! Those comments though valid at the time, were made years ago when the gym had different owners and management.
This gym is huge with so many machines and setups for beginner to extreme gym goers. The vibe is always right the staff is always happy and extremely approachable. I have gone to multiple classes with Mike the head trainer who is extremely knowledgeable in training your muscles in exactly the way you are looking for.
They are constantly upgrading, they are 24/7 365, they give military and first responder discounts and they are also one of the most affordable

I've been going to this gym many years before it was Blu Edge and was called Oxygen fitness with "Omar". He's no longer there and haven't been for a while. Just though I'd write a review to explain and give it the rating I think it should have. Lots of workout equipment, rare for a machine to be broken, everyone generally keeps to themselves and are good with wiping down machines. Not a bad gym at all. Of course during certain hours it can get packed when the majority of people get off work

The owner of this place is a TOTAL scam artist. BEWARE! In February of 2013 I signed up on a month to month basis. I called back 6 months later to cancel, and they told me I couldn't because I signed a 2 year contract. Then, in November 2015 I called to ask when my last payment was, and they said Feb 1st, 2016. Fine, I said. My contract was finally up and I could walk away from this hell hole. Then my wife called 2 weeks later, and they told her we were now on a month to month. Avoid this scammer Omar at all costs!

Please PLEASE don't do what I did and ignore all these horrible reviews about this place! I joined yelp just to warn others about this gym. Have never written a review about any place until today. I thought I would never have to experience what others have and wouldn't have issues with the staff/owner. I WAS WRONG. Have only started working out for 2 weeks and already have been talked down to, embarrassed, and even feel harassed. Why can't you treat your paying customers with RESPECT?! Those like me who didn't listen to the horror stories are the only reason this place is still

Stay away from this gym. ONce your in a contract you won't be able to cancel without having to take the owner Omar to court. If you try canceling your card then he will turn you in to the Credit Bureaus. The only way to cancel your contract with him is by taking him to court. Not worth the hassle so stay away from this gym. Plus the daycare center there only has 1 person watching sometimes up to 30 kids at once. Not safe. And the toys are always so filthy dirty. My kids both got the flu so bad they were hospitalized because of it. They are home schooled so I know they got it from there. If

You should go ahead and avoid this place. Omar, the owner, is a condescending con artist. He'll lock you into a contract that you will need an act of Congress to get out of. With all the bad reviews, he is desperate to hold on to the clients he already suckered in. He will make it IMPOSSIBLE for you to officially end your contract. Find an honest business to give your money to and stay away from here!
