After spending seven years living as a missionary in Costa Rica, Maureen learned Spanish and wanted to bring a little of that "toque" to the table. Maureen finds the name suitable for the bonds with her fellow colleagues, members or "socias". Over 30 years in the business. I'm happy to bring to the table the knowledge and experience I've inhaled through many years. Having a creative eye and a bit of a flair; I'm happy to have helped many feel their personal best. We all like to express our individuality, to pull ourselves together, to enhance our appearance.
You may feel a bit of trepidation, as do we. So know that SOCIAS is committed to maintaining the standards of the Health and Safety regulations. The disinfecting and safety guidelines provided by the state of Massachusetts will be thoroughly observed. And as much as we all hate it; unfortunately, there is a new normal for now; even at SOCIAS.

Laurie is legendary! I came in for a color correction six days before my wedding. I was fairly stressed and particular - frankly, I would not have wanted myself as a customer. Nevertheless, Laurie was incredibly kind and patient, and got me walking out of the salon feeling comfortable and confident. I cannot recommend her and Socia's enough.

Such a cute salon! I haven't got my hair professionally done in years. Today I got my hair done today by Sheila, she honestly did such a great job. My hair came out exactly the way I wanted it. This is the first time I've got my hair done and didn't hate it. I will for sure will be going back. If it's your first time going here definitely request Sheila!

I got a full highlight and cut from Ana about a month ago. The color still looks amazing and my hair is still feeling incredibly healthy. Ana was awesome and really took her time on my hair. She was gentle and attentive through the process and was sure to check-in with me to make sure I was satisfied! The salon itself is clean and professional. Would definitely recommend!

I see Karen for cuts and color. She is great. HIGHLY recommend her and the salon is peaceful. I like peaceful. Recently moved to this area and needed something near my new job. Thanks Karen! Ooh- and they offer makeup services that I have yet to try but I think that would be a ton of fun to try a new hair color with a new makeup pallet or color scheme.

This place is amazing, I highly recommend it! I was looking for a local hair salon and I found this hidden gem. The salon itself its beautifully decorated and its staff is personal and professional. I highly recommend Ana if you want a nice, trendy haircut or balayage. I was afraid of getting my hair colored but I had some ideas from pinterest which I showed Ana and she knew exactly what to do. My hair came out amazing (perfect color) and it looks so shiny and healthy. Seriously, you need to try this place, you will not regret it.

I was being treated to a Birthday gift hair do by my mom. I decided to give Diane a try as I was told that she has been in the business for 15 years. I liked a hair cut that I got through a young woman named Emma previously. I was informed Emma no longer worked there. I decided to give Diane a try. I waited some time for Diane as other clients were ahead of me even though I had a scheduled appointment. I wanted a body wave and did not want tight curls or a lot of maintenance. Diane told me she would use purple rods. At the end my hair looked like a poofy mess. I figured that it would get better

Socia's is great place to get your hair done. You feel comfortable and welcome as soon as you walk in, with clean, inviting décor, (including coffee!) and warm staff. Maureen was great in helping me pick a color for my hair, and explaining what she was going to do so I could look and feel my best. As I don't go to a salon that much, it took a while only because my hair needed some extra TLC, but that's exactly what I got-I wasn't rushed and I was so pleased with the results. Extra props to Maureen for transforming my "before" hair into a perfectly "ever after

Socias salon is fabulous. It is clean, professional and well decorated. Lori is an amazing stylist and is always does a great job for any service that I may need. Last week I found myself standing in line behind someone and couldn't help but notice their notably fabulous hair. When she turned around I had to ask her, "Who does your hair???" And that's how I found out about Beth at Socias.
Beth is not only a total sweetheart who is fun to talk to but she really knows what she's doing. She had ideas for what would look good on me, and gently dissuaded me from an idea I had that she thought I would regret. I'm very happy with the cut I ended up with.

Stylish and sophisticated salon with reasonable prices. You might not expect such a nice place, since the plaza is rather plain, but the decor and atmosphere are very relaxing. (It feels like a lounge, rather than cold and post-modern, which is nice.)

Awesome salon!!! Had my hair done by Beth on Friday. I went in knowing I wanted to try a drastic change. I had been blonde for 15+ years and now wanted to go chocolate brown with some red and violet undertones. I showed Beth a picture and she matched the color exactly! She even did an extra process to make sure I would get the rich color result that I was seeking. I am still getting used to the look on me, but I love the color!! Love my cut too! I have been getting so many compliments! Will definitely be coming here until I move back west.
