I have been going to this salon for years and have referred people to Sharper Image. I always get compliments on my hair. They are awesome! Janine (the owner) is very reasonable and continues her education in hair to give her clients the best in color and cuts that are fashion forward. If there was a complaint where you were asked to leave and not come back, you must have been a complete idiot!

Julie is wonderful. She was skilled enough to even braid gold into my hair for prom. It was a complicated up do that would have taken most stylists three hours, but Julie did it perfectly in just one.

Okay, so you've made it to our website. Now, you're probably wondering what makes our salon different from everybody else's. Well, we're not going to bore you with the usual declarations of "Oh, we've been in business 25 years, etc., etc." Let us explain how we handle clients and that will give you a better idea of why Sharper Image is your best choice.
I graduated Melrose Beauty Academy in 1984. I've worked at Barron's Boston on Newbury St., Hairmates in Stoneham and Villa Novia Woburn before settling in at Sharper Image Hair Design my home since 1991. Through the years, I've attended many hands on education classes, hair shows and seminars. I've taken Aquage classes in long hair styling, bridal, prom styling, kinetic razor cutting and pure forms.

I'm so glad I found this salon when I moved to the area. The service is friendly and personal, and appointments generally run on time. I have liked pretty much every cut and foil I've gotten here. Julie in particular is really wonderful about tailoring the cut to my hair type and face shape, and customizing colors so they fade well. Highly recommended!
