The most important investment (financial and otherwise) in your life is in the relationships with your spouse/partner and family. If you are married or in a deeply committed relationship, you have never been so vulnerable since you were a child. No one can give you such extreme pleasure or pain as your partner.

Amazing isn't it?! You do not pick your parents but you do pick your friends and spouse or partner. Invest in the maintenance of your relationship like you do your investments that are not as important as your family. Research suggests that the breakdown of the family creates the largest cause of pain in any society.

Are you frustrated about focusing on what you do NOT want? We all have been there. That negative focus is based on regrets of the past and fears in the future with no space for the present here and now. So there we are stuck, stymied and stuttering in the here and now, unable to relax in the present moment.

James is the best! I have seen such a marked change in my son since having him to talk to. He gave our family tools to handle complex and simple situations.

Dr. James Sanders has been a wonderful gift in my life. I was diagnosed with PTSD following an accident, and after a year of suffering, I found Dr. Sanders. Though it was difficult for me to share such deep emotions, he instantly made his office a safe space where I could say anything, even the very worst things. He doesn't make me feel judged or ashamed of myself, but is firm with me when I hold onto untruthful, negative beliefs about myself. He's used both CBT and EMDR to treat me.

I recommend seeing him if you've experienced any kind of trauma, betrayal, or heartbreak
