Some of the counselors are great but others are terrible. My biggest complaint is that you have to miss work or school frequently to attend as they aren't interested in working around schedules and while you need to be on time or even early the counselors rarely are. Also, there are sometimes very hyped up, threatening individuals in the lobby area yelling at people and this is apparently normal? Front desk people are very nice. Overall I would not recommend them.

My family has probably tried a total of 7 counselors here over the last 12 years. All have been pretty bad in different ways. My last experience there was the final straw though. They are incredibly insensitive and unprofessional. The front desk people have always been very nice, but the counselors themselves are pretty bad. One of our children passed away and my husband and I went for help shortly after the funeral. They knew why I was there, I'd talked to one of the counselors the previous day for about an hour. When I arrived they immediately tried to separate us from each other and treated

For a year I have been going here and it all feels like a sham. I have agoraphobia, in the beginning of our sessions I said it would be hard for me to make every appointment, “what if I no showed.” She said the most important thing was that I tried. And I missed a lot of appointments in the beginning.
There was a lot of trust that had to be built. Eventually even my fiancé could leave the room and I was comfortable enough to be alone with her. Over time I got better at going and I was feeling I was making progress and even taking steps to leave my apartment to make positive experiences.

Mark and the staff are great but the communication is terrible! Trying to get my drivers license back and left at least 6 voicemails to Mark and he never called me back. I finally got through to him and at that time I was told I needed to sign a release form before Mark could send my information to the DOL. Nobody bothered to tell me this. Two weeks to get through is unacceptable and very unprofessional. Please improve your communication. Answer voicemails. Please realize that miscommunication is very stressful for your clients.
