Services
Coral Gables Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is an 87 bed, duly certified (Medicare/Medicaid) rehabilitation center conveniently located only a few miles from Kindred Hospital. It is designed not as an end-point facility, but rather is a place where guests receive rehabilitation and recovery care to prepare them to return home.
Our physical therapy programs encompass therapeutic exercises, balance, gait, endurance training, and use of assistive devices such as walkers and canes. Specialized treatment programs include hip/knee orthopedic, cardiac rehabilitation, stroke and pain management. Occupational therapist strive to improve the skills needed for you or your loved one to return home.
Mr. Steinmeyer is a senior level health care executive with over 30 years of experience in on-site management and ownership of long term care and rehabilitation facilities. He is actively involved in all aspects of the daily operation of Coral Gables Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Steinmeyer maintains an open door policy and is pleased to meet directly with any resident, family member and visitor regarding questions or comments they may have about the Center and it's care and services.

I honestly don’t know why the negative reviews, I have had my family member in this center for 2 years and counting and all I do is send everyone I know to this place. They are amazing, caring, loving, no place is perfect, I was in 3 other facilities before finding this one and trust me. I am very happy and they will always be my first choice. If you have an issue or concern just talk to someone at the office, they stop what they are doing and immediately help you with anything you need. The admissions girls are amazing, i always leave smiling when I get out of there.

My father was a resident in your facility before moving out of state last year. This is a very clean facility, They care and love their resident. I am happy that i was able to have my father there for rehabilitation. He was another person after returning home to us.Carolyn the Admissions Director was an angel sent to us to help us on these process when i was most desperate. As per the nurses, Social Worker, Therapy girls I have nothing but thanks to you guys for doing your job with so much love. Thank you

I had rehabilitation at this place after having a knee surgery. I was very happy with the care and the staff. The facility is small, clean, odorless, spacious and very family oriented. I felt like home, they made my short time there be wonderful. Great experience, I’ll definitively be back if needed. My #1 choice !!

DO NOT BRING A LOVED ONE TO THIS PLACE!! My family had two family members pass away within a week or two after being discharged from this place.My great uncle passed in 8/2019 and my dear Grandmother passed 10/2019. My grandmother was admitted due to a fall and went in walking ,however left bed bound after being in this "rehab" for 3 months. She deteriorated day after day. A week after being home we were told she was septic and wouldn't make it. My Sister and niece would visit almost daily and never got a chance to see our grandmother doing any time of physical or occupational therapy to get her

I was an employee of Coral Gables Nursing and Rehabilitation Center due to relocation i was sad to leave this wonderful place. During the time i was there as an employee i got to meet and work closely with the wonderful staff of this facility. They are loving, caring, patient, sweet towards the residents, family members and themself " They are a Family". We as staff see everything and never saw nothing but love in this place. Carolyn Sanchez the Marketer and Admissions Director and I have worked together for many years and i cant say how proud i am of the person she has become, she is always there

I believe that in Elderly Care this is the best facility on the planet. Great service and they really care about the residents. They always have amazing events for them and they celebrate every holiday. They make the residents feel very special. My mom is there and she says its like being at home. The meals are deliscious and the staff are very sweet to my mother. The rooms are perfect and have adequate closet space. The nurses are very attentive to family concerns and the staff always responds right away. Her meds are given on time and efficiently. I highly recommend it.
