Unfortunately, we've seen some orthodontists use gimmicks and promote self-ligating brackets (Damon, etc.) and thermal-sensitive wire to "sell" you treatment and use appliances that claim to "grow" the lower jaw.
Love love love this place. As a senior citizen, I was not looking forward to having to wear braces (again). This was a lot different than 45 years ago! The doctor & every member of his team really know their stuff! I was always confident that I was getting the very best treatment & care I could ever receive.
For many teens, braces are a rite of passage: They're more examples of the changes adolescents go through at this time - along with growth in stature, edgier tastes in clothes and music, and an increasing degree of self-awareness. But is there any particular reason why orthodontic appliances and teenagers seem to go together?
When you hear the word "orthodontics, " what comes to mind? Probably a young teenager with traditional braces. There are indeed many orthodontic patients who fit that description. However, there now exists an increasingly popular alternative to traditional metal braces: Invisalign clear aligners. It's amazing that we have the ability to straighten smiles with the help of aligners that are not visible when we smile.

All around great experience! The doctors and staff were always pleasant and professional. They were very accommodating with appointments and those occasional, urgent matters! The treatment plan was reasonable (no additional, unnecessary procedures) and the cost was competitive (lower than the other two orthodontists I'd met with). Highly recommend McKinney Orthodontics!

We visited McKinney Orthodontics to get a second opinion after our previous orthodontist recommended pulling 4 teeth. Dr. Lofgren reassured us that he could achieve great results without pulling teeth. We have stayed with Dr Lofgren since then and we have been very happy with the results. Everyone we have interacted with at McKinney Orthodontics has been very friendly and helpful.

Highly recommend McKinney Orthodontics. I got my braces as an adults and they made the process very easy and explained the process for me along the way. They coordinated and communicated my treatment journey with my dentist so he was in the know every step of the way. The staff is great. I actually enjoyed going in for my office visits.

I love this office and as a kid with braces I was comfortable knowing the doctors there had the knowledge and experience to operate and they knew what they were doing. Our family has been a part of the Creekview Orthodontics family since they were in their first office on West McDermott many years ago. All 3 of our kids went through the entire orthodontics process, beginning with palat expanders, braces and finally retainers and they all have beautiful smiles! I loved the all-inclusive price and payment plans they offered. I highly Dr. Ghosh and his staff!!!
