I am a local boy, grew up in far North Dallas and attended high school in Richardson. My childhood was filled with helping my father throw a 400+ daily paper route for the Dallas Morning News, playing every sport I could, and achieving my Eagle Scout at age 15. My "glory days" of basketball ended at Pearce High School with 2 district championships and gut-wrenching playoff losses.

For fun I love to shop, travel, watch sporting events, swimming, and enjoy doing home improvement/decorating projects. I love teeth! I began my orthodontic career right out of high school and enjoyed transforming smiles for many years. I took some time away to raise my family. Now, I'm back and loving every moment!

We love this place! My son is a new customer. He actually just got his braces today, right after his fitting yesterday. What can I say about the staff...so welcoming. Accommodating. Friendly. And always smiling! We've only seen them a handful of times so far, but will recommend them to anyone that asks. Customer service at it's best. And my son enjoys going. That's the win!

Our son has been seeing Dr. Kraus since the beginning of 2021. They're entire staff is so friendly and they take the time to go over every question and detail without making you feel rushed. They also have a reward system that motivates kids to make sure they follow their dental care routine. Even though my son is already 14, he is very motivated to get those rewards! We actually are starting treatment for our daughter as well.

Dr. Kraus and Kraus Orthodontics was wonderful to work with and I definitely recommend seeing them for your braces needs! I was transferred to them after my original doctor closed her office. Dr. Kraus and his staff are so nice and helpful! My husband and I are older and have horrific eyesight, so the staff was kind enough to let us drop in weekly to turn our child’s expander. When a bracket popped off, I wasn’t sure if it was an emergency, but Dr. Kraus called back (on a Sat.) to reassure us, and he was so kind about it. Highly recommend this practice!
