First let me start by saying that my operator Emma was very knowledgeable and had great customer service skills. My rating is based upon their products. I went for an express Keratin and was surprised at the process. I have never had the product rinsed out before blowout and flat iron. The product that they used not only prove to be ineffective I believe it actually increased the frizz and dryness. When I came back one week later to show the owner her response was "this treatment was not right for you". Mind you I have been getting express keratins for the last several years.

Went last week with an appointment for cut and color with Emma.
Emma did highlight my hair but then she said Trish would do the cut?
Not a good cut at all. Pieces sticking out all over the place. Fortunately my hair grows quickly so I plan to have someone fix the cut in a few weeks. I should have questioned why Emma wasn't cutting my hair as I went there hearing good things about her. wont be back.

I am so disappointed by their hospitality. I was 20 mins late for the appointment agree it was my mistake as this place is new to me it took me a while to find the way. But thats now how you treat a customer. You cannot just force me to sit and then tell how late I am and how you did lose customer because of me. The way the stylist spoke was so harsh just ruined my day!!!
I was excited for the keratin treatment but left there disappointed.

On June 1 I got a keratin treatment from Emma, who by the way was friendly and professional. I waited this long to give a review so I could fully experience this salon service. It was my least favorite keratin treatment. The product they use is Cezanne Perfect Finish and although I liked the fact that it didn't have formaldehyde in it, it did nothing beneficial for my hair. I normally get keratin treatments 2-3 times a year to cut down on blow drying time. This product didn't help with that. This product actually made my hair smell terrible for weeks and actually colored my brown hair

My experience with Serene Serene actually started out really great! I bought a Groupon to receive a keratin treatment that I have had many times before at other salons. I went in and Emma was very sweet and seemed to know what she doing. In fact, when I left I decided I would switch to Serene Serene as my normal haircut place.
However, things quickly took a turn for the worse. My hair remained extremely frizzy and wavy. It was as if I hadn't spent $200 dollars on a hair treatment. I even tried adding extra product to my hair in the mornings and NOTHING. I called and asked if there was anything

Yesterday was my first time here and I absolutely loved everything about this salon. The place was immaculate and comfortable and the staff were all very friendly. Emma really listened to my concerns about my hair and made suggestions on color and cut. It came out absolutely beautiful and she gave me some great tips on how to manage my unruly hair. It takes an extra long time to get my hair done. She never rushed and was great to talk to. I HIGHLY recommend trying this place!

SereneSerene stylists are attentive to your particular hair texture - not cookie-cutter hairstyling. The stylists are personable and genuinely care about each individual client. I recommended the salon to someone who moved here from out-of-state and the person has thanked me numerous times for the recommendation.

This salon is very expensive and unfortunately you're paying for the decor rather than the skill of the stylists. I'm sure that there must be good stylists there because they have been there a while and seem to do pretty good business, maybe I just got the newest addition to the staff. Anyway, I went there maybe 4 times to get my hair cut. I like a bob without layers, which seems like a pretty straight forward cut. My stylist was unable to cut it straight every single time I went. One side was always longer than the other, and the short side was always TOO short to even up the rest with
