Helena at salon Suriya is an excellent stylist who I've known for over a decade. Due to pandemic, access is limited to scheduled appointments, facials are not permitted, and face masks are required (you can buy one for three dollars from her if you need). She is being very careful and observing all possible precautions with face shields and partitions between wash stations; there is only one other stylist and they work apart from each other. Believe me when I say there are few people I trust with my hair, and in the years I have known her she has never led me astray. She always suits the style

Suriya saved my (really awful) short “pixie” haircut I had from another salon downtown a few months ago. I researched carefully to find a trained and talented hairstylist to reshape an extremely short pixie cut gone wrong, hacked like a boy’s cut, and I found Suriya. Amazingly, he picked up the phone when I called and saw me as an “emergency” that very evening, past the regular salon opening hours. I thought I would just show him what’s happened, and wait a few weeks for the hair to grow out before I can come back in for a fix, but he fixed it on the spot - not just “repairing”

Suriya is an artist in his practice, so intuitive, a master hair designer, and professional. My experience was relaxing, kind, comfortable and charming. My hair feels amazing, soft and with a new beautiful body. He cut my hair, and my partner’s hair. We are both happy to have found him! Thank you, Suriya!

I've been going to Suriya for over 5 years.
I get consistently Amazing hair cuts!
He is a true artist and really cares about giving you a great hair cut. He also does my high lites and they look natural and blend perfect with my hair color. I'm lucky to have found Suriya and grateful for the wondeful cuts.

My son and I both get our haircut from Suriya and we love it! My son is three and he's so patient and wonderful with him when he comes in not to mention he gives him a great haircut that lasts :) As for me the relaxing salon and great cut and color are something I always look forward to and I'm never disappointed with!

Was the best cut I've had. I found Suriya on google and had good reviews, so i thought i would try it. As iffy as i was about getting my haircut in a new city far from what I was used to, he cut my hair exactly how I wanted it, and the service was impeccable. From water to a wonderful cup of tea, to the color in my hair (bare in mind, I never had color in my hair) he understood exactly what i wanted. and i just want to say thank you Suriya. great place, great cut, happy customer!

This is the best place I have had my hair done to date. (I'm 50) Suriya is so talented at what he does. He has cut my hair (x3) colored and straightened it. I just love it. He takes his time and I leave with the best looking hair. And.. it continues to look great until my next cut! This is an entirely new experience for me. He has aslo worked miracles on my husband's hair. The Best cuts he has ever had.. period. The service is great and the salon is so nice and comfortable. Pampering myself always seems like the last priority on my agenda, never mind a routine hair cut. It was long over due, I researched local salons in Old Town and Suriya came to the top of the list, however it was past closing time . . . so maybe next time. I walked through Old town then decided to hit up Harney Sushi for dinner. A few stores past Harney Sushi I saw the lights were still on at Suriya, so I wondered over to see if he had time for a late walk in. Suriya met me with a smile, a warm welcome and a glass of wine. I had a tranquil experience with light conversation, a great shampoo/message
