Main St Cafe
Has been a part of the Bloomer community since it's humble beginnings in 1981. Our homemade pies, soups, and menu entrees give the Chippewa Valley a taste of home that is reminiscent of a time when everything that came out of Mom's kitchen was made from scratch. Main Street Cafe's proprietor, Don Stoik, will work with you to make your catering or fundraising event a success.

Join us in downtown Bloomer for a home cooked meal, a freshly made pie or cheesecake, or just to pick up an unbaked pizza from our carry out menu.

Absolutely loved the food. 1st time coming here for breakfast but definitely not the last. My husband and I are definitely falling in love with Bloomer. Beautiful little family town. Can't wait to finish raising our family here.

Donnie is great hands on owner operator. For pie that you can't deny, its the Main Street Cafe. Their breakfast is second to none. This is the place, look no further.

Amazing food. And the pies are to die for. Absolutely incredible. Huge selection! Very reasonable pricing on the pies. They are always fresh daily (or buy the day old pie for $5). Fresh pies are $14.

Horrible service! We had a large group, and there was some original confusion (that was not our fault). The wait staff was snippy and it took over an hour to get our food - and we all ordered the specials to keep it simple (3 options). They did not show any respect for our time, and after going person to person writing down our orders, they didn't care who actually ordered what.
They knew there was a group of 30 coming, why wouldn't you be as prepared as possible for it?

Really nice local cafe with pies that are known all throughout Western Wisconsin! We typically stop by a Kwik Trip to buy their pies, but today I stopped here, (at the source), and picked up 3 entirely different and totally delightful pies to share! I highly recommend any of the cream pies! So good!

My 1st review was actually for a different restaurant that I wasn't happy with.
I've been to Main Street Cafe only a few times and have never been disappointed. I had a chicken sandwich that was good and came out hot. My husband had the roast beef sandwich that was excellent!! Very tender and top notch flavor. I need to go back again just for that. The pies are amazing and I only wish I could eat a slice of each one. Will definitely be going back

Great food and amazing desserts.
Kids enjoyed their corndogs, and we enjoyed a bacon cheeseburger and club sandwich.
I have never had a dessert I didn't enjoy from here.

Just had breakfast at the main street cafe. The waitress was not friendly at all. Took forever to get our breakfast. I asked for crispy hash browns and sourdough toast and I got burnt hash browns and sourdough toast. My husband loves Wisconsin and this was not a good first impression. I can't believe restaurants don't realize that people give reviews about their performance. Too many bad reviews and people won't go there.

We went here for a quick anniversary lunch. The service was excellent, food hot and delicious, good portions for the cost. And the icing on the cake...the delicious pies. Many to choose from. This place is a must for a nice meal in friendly atmosphere.

This was some of the best fish I have had in a long time. Usually fried fish has some grease and this was perfect huge chuncks of white cod. I will be back and even order extra to take home. And plus side, great pie to take home.

Lifelong Wisconsin residents who moved to Alaska 7 years ago, back in town and was "jonesing" for a traditional fish fry. The Main Street Cafe did not disappoint! Two pieces of fresh flaky fish expertly battered and fried (can also order a four piece dinner but the pieces are quite large), the best lyonnaise potatoes I've had (crispy yet tender and lots of real onions), fresh lemon and good tartar. Hubby had 10 ( yes, TEN) crispy fried shrimp. Salad with tasty French dressing was delicious -much better choice than overly dressed coleslaw. Choose the French fried or lyonnaise

Main Street Cafe

A very cute setting in a charming country town called Bloomer WI.
It's right on Main St. So while there is parking on main street, I would plan on parking in the public lots about 1/2 a block away. When you enter Main Street Cafe its in your typical, very cute country setting from the pictures on the wall to the table and chairs. You will be greeted with a smile and the servers are pleasant and charming. They will smile and engage in conversation all through your meal if you so choose. What ever you decide to order will come out quickly and correct. Expect big and very tasty

Great little cafe with homemade delicious assortment of pies! One of our favorite spots on our trip to Iola! Great Reuben and fries. Hot French fries with a crispy taste. Had a root beer float, with vanilla scoop ice-cream.
Had the health peanut butter pie! Great friendly service! Always a good experience!

Great menu selection. However, stay away from the chili. Texture was weird and not very flavorful. I do recommend pie. the pie selection was amazing!

Our waitress was not very attentive. We had to ask for refills of water. She never came to check on us. But another waitress stepped in and tried to help.

All-in-all worth the detour of hey 53 to have a bite to eat.

Mr. Don Stoik... I seen a news report on your company, as a customer I tend to give my opinions on experiences I've had... I was literally berated and belittled by your staff on a public social media platform under a post about your company for all your other customers to read. As a local business owner myself I couldn't imagine my employees doing this... we've all had frustrated customers, you let them vent and move on.. I know I wasn't happy when I had a employee represent my company in a negative way... I just wanted to bring this to your attention... Have a great day sir

Not much open on NYD so as always I support the independent business. We made the mistake of going with the breakfast buffet limited choices eggs B&g potatoes and some sort of miniature brats or breakfast sausage. The selection of pies looked great maybe we should have had that for breakfast. Next time order off the menu quality not quantity.

Main Street Café is just like being home. Awesome breakfast and a full pot of coffee placed right on the table. When ever I'm working up north I can't resist getting up early giving my self extra time for breakfast at Main Street Café. On my last visit I tried the Blueberry Wild Rice Toast. I enjoyed every bite and looking forward to enjoying it again.

The service is always great. The portions are so filling I usually work through lunch. Give this restaurant a try and you will be back again and again. Why bother with Those fast food places when plasticly tasting greasy eggs along

Breakfast was so greasy that I couldn't eat the hash browns and used a napkin to wipe off the scrambled eggs. Ordered bacon that was delivered after I was finished eating. "Here you are Dear" were the only words spoken to us. Evidently they have so many complaints they don't ask how your breakfast is. Strawberry jam was good. Such a shame this restaurant had gone downhill over the years. Going to call Shell oil and tell them where they can drill for oil.

I've been here several times with large groups of family and friends across all ages. There is always seating available in the large back room when we go, friendly, swift and accommodating service. The decor is casual and homey. The pie selection is our main draw, and everyone always winds up happy.

We went to Main Street Café specifically for the pie, but had lunch too. The food was pretty subpar, in my opinion, but not unexpected for a small town establishment. The pie we took home was pretty good and worth more than 2 stars.

Oh man....the pie selection at the Main Street Cafe is just impressive. I sampled just about all of them during my visit to Chippewa Falls. I'd highly recommend the raspberry cream, strawberry rhubarb and classic apple pie If you're eating in they'll serve you a warmed slice of pie with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream on the side. Good eats and great, friendly staff!

The food is great. This is one of my favorite places to have a steak and mashed potatoes. The chicken dumpling soup is also wonderful. The service is hit or miss (usually miss). I've been here quite a few times when we've had to go find a server just to be waited on. They do not apologize for mistakes and usually don't seem real happy with their jobs. The owner has also posted political signs within the restaurant which was a huge turn off.

To recap, the food is a 5. The service is a 1. Therefore, I'll rate it a 3.

AMAZING! Just happened to stop by Bloomer on our way to Minnesota and it did not disappoint. My
Husband and I split the roast beef sandwich which was a huge portion and came with perfect mashed potatoes and soup. Perfectly tender beef and no fatty essence. Based on the pie counter we knew it was going to be a life changing experience. I had their best seller which was a raspberry cream cheese pie and he ordered he strawberry rhubarb. I can't begin to explain how perfectly delicious the pies were and the whole experience for that matter. I would drive well out of my way to come here. We felt

Again, Yelp didn't disappoint. Found this place driving through Wisconsin. What a great place. Small town, everybody says hi type of place. I'll be sure to be back. The special for the day was 1/2 broiled chicken, mashed, vegetable, salad or soup for $7.99. Yep, $7.99 for all that. I asked my waitress if there was anything she'd recommend other than the special. She said open faced hot beef is always good. I went for that. Good is an understatement. Since my mother is beyond internet age, I'll say. It was as good as mom made it back in the day. Order it or probably

I ate breakfast there on Sunday morning, July 24. My adult daughter and three other young adults were in our party. The waiter pitched the buffet, which at about $7 each, sounded great. Everyone in our party opted for the buffet. What a colossal mistake!
The only thing that was decent was the sausages. The pancakes looked awful, the waffles looked like toaster waffles (except they weren't hot), the rolls were cold, and the coffee was meh.
Never again!

A staple of the diet of anyone from the Chippewa Valley. The cooking is nothing fancy or out of this world (hence the 4 star review), but it is solid and keeps you going for the rest of the day. Their pies are also famous throughout the area and I would highly recommend them.
