Robert Laws joined the practice in 1955 after graduating from the University of Washington School of Dentistry and serving as a Navy Dentist. If you experience a dental emergency, be sure to call our practice as soon as possible. If you need immediate attention after hours, call our emergency phone number, and our on-call staff member will help you. We are here to help you at any time, on any day. When your dental health is at risk, we?ll do everything we can to make sure you?re treated as soon as possible.
Your first visit to our office typically includes an X-ray that allows us to view the structure of the jaw, the position of any teeth that have not yet erupted, malformed roots, and tooth decay. The initial visit involves a review of your medical history. When you share your medical history, be sure to provide complete, up-to-date information on your health.
The cost of your treatment may vary depending on your individual needs and treatment plan. During your visit, we'll discuss with you the cost of your treatment, and each of your available payment plan options, so you are able to make the best choice for you, your smile, and your family. Our office staff is always available to help you with insurance claims and paperwork.
Focus on Preventative dentistry, standard cleaning(prophy), periodontal diagnosis and treatment, oral health screening, biopsies, crowns, veneers, bridges, onlays, inlays, standard and precision partial dentures, attachments, dentures, over-dentures, custom bleaching, bonding, composite, tooth extraction, implant placement and restoration, root canal therapy.
Your regular exam will take about 1 hour. Each regular exam includes a detailed teeth cleaning in which we will clean, polish, and rinse your teeth to remove any tartar and plaque that have built up on the tooth's surface. Visiting our office every six months gives you the chance to talk to the doctor about any questions you may have about your oral health.

I have worked as a dental assistant in Clark County for 20 years....and I can honestly say that Dr. Michael Laws performs the best, most meticulous, aesthetic dentistry I have ever seen. He just worked a small miracle on me after my dog shattered my front tooth. He went above and beyond to make sure I didn't have to walk around like a pirate! I am so grateful for his care!

Tired of going to California for my dental appointments I decided that I needed to find a local dentist. Living in Carter Park we are fortunate enough to have a large assortment of Dentists. Of course supporting local business is also a top priority. After calling a few I found Dr Laws to be my choice.
From the street the building does not look like much but once you come in its a beautiful office. Some offices have views of bird feeders, and others of a Japanese sand garden. The music was nice, and relaxing. What a great atmosphere.

I like the small family run dentistry. A change in insurance forced me to switch dentists after using the same dentist since I was a child. They were wonderful and I was never a kid that hated the dentist. I was very sad to switch and I struggled to find someone comparable. I went to gentle dental thinking they could handle just a cleaning. I hated them, it was so corporate, and they skipped cleaning a few teeth. I scrapped the dentist for a couple years before I found dr Law. He's a third generation dentist and the hygienists are 90% great. You can't mesh with everyone but I really like

Laws Family Dentistry is a lovely local family business with a clam and welcoming atmosphere. I have been going to this dentist since I was a kid and I can say that they are as accommodating with kids as they are with adults! The staff is friendly and the office is very cheery. I will be going back to Mr. Laws for many years to come!

Dr Laws is one of the best dentist I've been to! First, his office is beautiful! I kinda feel like I'm going to a spa, The receptionists all knew me by name the second time I went. The lobby area is cute, comfy, and modern. It doesn't feel like a dentist office. The hygienist are friendly, gentle and good at not making me bleed. Dr Laws is funny, and wait till his hands are out of my mouth to ask questions. I would recommend to anyone!
