Unfortunately like most of us, I had to own up to my own mistake of parking in a area that I shouldn't had....with that being said I encountered a very sweet person.. Katie, she helped me retrieve my car back ASAP. I was already stressed about the situation and during her care she managed to make me feel more at ease through out the whole ordeal. Highly recommend her and the the rest of the staff.

My husband was in a car accident leaving our car undriveable. He used Berkeley Towing to tow our car to our apartment. When their driver arrived he gave him very detailed instructions to leave the car in our assigned parking spot at our apartment. Long story short the drive put the car in the wrong spot resulting in taking our neighbors reserved spot. When he called Berkeley Towing they refused to send the driver back to move the car. When we finally got them to agree they gave us a time frame of 2 hours. When no one arrived we called and were informed 3 hours. After three hours we called multiple

This company has shown me hospitality and I'm very greatful, from the fellas towing my car making sure i was in good shape to drive home safely and new owners of the business Katie and her Husband providing beyond the call of duty service to help me when I was stranded which in turn pouring out an abundance of human kindness. Garbage customer service for legal extortion company. They attempt to rack up charges so you cannot afford to pay to get your car out. They pretty much take your property hostage and instead of charging a flat fee to get it out, the longer they have it the more it cost to get out.
All they care is about ripping you off, they don't care if you were hospitalized and unable to pick up the car since they will only release it to the registered owner. Horrible people that abuse lower income citizens with their business model.

The staff are friendly even when dealing with those who are not accountable for their own actions. All smiles when confronted with attitudes. The lowest prices I have ever seen in dealing with Tow companies in the area. Very reasonable and quick service. The owner is easily accessible and a pleasure to work with. They towed my car and didn't keep a record of where they got it from so when I called then and asked if they had my car they told me to call the police and repot it stolen when they had it the hole time after talking to the cops they said that they have it so I called them back and they all of a sudden had it and I got my car back they miscommunication was crazy!

This is the first time writing a yelp review and I feel the need to highlight businesses to give a glimpse with all the negative ratings I see here. I assume towing business reviews are nothing like restaurant reviews; people usually write to rant.
Sure, I strongly dislike corrupt practices in any businesses for personal gain and impacting the wellbeing of others negatively. This includes towing, police, etc.
I certainly cannot speak for all the staffs at All Day Towing except for the recent encounter with the owner Robert Miller. Our HOA recently hired a new 3rd party parking enforcement

I see them driving around at 5:30am on the weekend looking to financially hurt people by towing their cars in order to meet their quota. How pathetic and what a low life job to go out and purposefully hurt people on such an early time.
While the victims work for their money these people choose the easy way at life. But again, i feel bad that a person’s whole aspiration in life is to tow people’s car on weekends. Sheesh must be out of options.... or rent is getting expensive on you huh 🤔

I contacted All Day Towing because I was looking to have two abandoned vehicles towed from my property. I was not expecting such great service. Robert and his amazing team were prompt, honest and really were helpful in explaining the steps and process. My experience was as smooth as could be and the vehicles were removed with no issues. I made one phone call to All Day Towing and if it wasn't for Robert and his team I would still be stuck with two abandoned vehicles.

Just for clarity, this review is NOT about the parking enforcement portion of this business - I get why that might generate negative reviews. This is a review of their capabilities as a requested tow service.
My car died in a remote part of the Castro Valley area late at night, and I requested a tow through State Farm's Roadside Assistance program. Car is a little unusual in that it is lower ground clearance than average. One tow company refused based on the ride height of the car. Second tow company refused also - same grounds. I got referred to All Day Towing as a last option,

Have been doing business with this company professionally & they've assisted us personally when we're in a bind (twice now). I've witnessed them handle sedans, coupes, trucks, suv's, a uhaul, & Tesla... All positive things to say & will keep doing business with. It's common for a business to get reviews based on disgruntled individuals (aka vehicle owners), but the company's just doing their job as the service has been requested of them. I've worked with other companies, this one is the only I've taken the time to leave a reccomendation on. Owned & managed by good people.

But ..but there was no broken glass, HOW COULD THAT BE? It was only 20 minutes. I locked the car.
IT WAS ALL DAY TOWING. THAT'S WHAT IT BE.
I called the police department to make a report and they told me it got towed by a private company. OH REALLY? OH. OH HOW CONVENIENT.

All Day Towing towed my next-door car parked in front of his own driveway while he is getting ready to go to work. We (5 neighbors) saw it happen and tried to stop them! SLPD came as well. Unfortunately, SLPD cannot do anything because of our HOA parking policy.
Several days later we spoke to Katie (owner). She was in contact with our HAS rep. She was very concerned about the situation and we discussed what happened. What a scandalous company.
We live in a neighborhood where parking is limited, so a common practice is to park in front of our own house to drop off our loads of grocery(or whatever we buy) before driving off to find parking.
We all do it, our neighbors as well. Today a neighbor was bringing in gym equipment, so he double parked in front of his house to unload his equipment. We all know gym equipment is heavy!
He takes his weights into his house and when he comes out, this tow truck is here. In front of his own house, trying to hitch his car!
We're watching all this unfold from our house

I left my car parked outside of my home at around midnight to unload the car and within 15 min of me trying to set my items back in my home, I come outside to my car gone. The curb was right in front of my house. There was no writing on the curb stating it was a fire lane nor was I endangering traffic. I've always parked there for 2 years and never once had issues from anyone nor my HOA.

I parked behind my sister's cars and got towed under 30 mins. When we went to archive our car, it took us more than 2 hours. I literally saw them driving around to patrol and took any car they saw on the way.
The tow idiot kicked said HOA called them !? Oh yeah.
Anyways, I would just spare this amount money for the minimum pay idiots. I am totally ok with that. Keep that money and wait for the Karma comes.
