Services
We know that being outside and active is one of the best things you can do for your body and soul. We grew up hearing "get outside" and to this day believe that's exactly what we should all do. Our trainer, Chad Jordan, leads personal and group tours anywhere in the Traverse City and Leelanau County region and will help you get outside in a way that feels safe, comfortable, and exciting to you.

We did not rent a kayak at this place.
But if you are a dog owner we don't recommend this place, we called and asked a guy that they are pet friendly or not and he's being pretty rude and tell us we have to pay for cleaning fee and stuff but at the end he said all his equipments were sold out for today, we don't know it really is or he just doesn't want us there.

To the owner. I considered your place until I saw the photos of guys with no shirts working out. Gross! Do something for ALL your clients and require shirts. I have never been to Yoga, Pilates or a gym that allowed men to go shirtless. Show respect for hygiene, comfort, and respect for everyone and require everyone to dress, geez.

Didn't know what to expect. Pictures made is seem very small and lacking in equipment. To my surprise the place was on the smaller side but had a great variety of equipment including free weights. Would definitely recommend for anyone staying near the Sutton Bay area. Price wise it is a little higher for a day pass, but the selection of equipment makes up for that. Very pleased and will use again if in the area.

A most wonderful place for all shapes and sizes. Body balance has some really serious fitness folks, but it is also fully welcoming to those who are just beginning to work on their health. It's more than a workout place. Because the owner Kevin and his staff are so caring and interested in everyone's overall health, they will meet you where you are and help you move forward from there. I have been doing yoga here for many years and it is by far the most welcoming and comfortable place I've ever been to work on my health.

Over the course of two days, we made two last-minute rentals for kayaks and a stand-up paddleboard. We got lucky in that they had the equipment available, but Kevin also took good care of us with delivery and pickup. Body Balance brought us the equipment as well as ease and convenience. Great service.

Great option for working out in the area! It is a more intimate style gym, by all means, and the prices are a little higher than other places, but if you need a place with equipment and don't want to have to drive a loo long way away, this is a great option. It is a clean facility with a good variety of equipment, and it is also close to the Lelanau Trail for going for a run/bike ride before or after working out.
