Within three months, the trio renovated the resort's restaurant into a pizza house. Transforming a seasonal bar into a year-round pub and pizzeria, Cousins Pub & Pizza at the Big Chair is a destination for local families and tourists alike. Working in the restaurant business since he was 17, Steve Reynolds started out at a restaurant called Little Italy in Baltimore and graduated from Baltimore Culinary School in 1982.
Chris Livingston has spent most of her life running businesses, and until the purchase of Cousins Pub & Pizza at the Big Chair, was running the Elks Lodge in Rochester, Minnesota. Every Sunday night is spaghetti night at Cousins Pub & Pizza at the Big Chair. We're proud to serve up this secret family recipe served with our delicious homemade garlic bread and garden-fresh salad.
The name's got "pub" in the title, so let's not downplay the fact that while we make delicious pizza, we also serve equally delicious beverages to wash down our awesome pizza goodness. Don't worry, we have the standard assortment of domestic beers. We also carry a number of craft and microbrews-both local and nationwide-because we know that delicious pizza deserves delicious beer.
In addition to our live music, we also do what we can for our community. We believe that being an active part of our community is important. Communities are a reflection of ourselves, and we're a reflection of our community.
We're proud to host our annual Military Appreciation Poker Run, which raises money and is donated to help The Semper Fi Fund to provide immediate financial assistance and lifetime support to post 9/11 wounded, critically ill and injured members of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, and their families, ensuring that they have the resources they need during their recovery and transition back to their communities.

The fun doesn't stop at our doors. Spend some time outside in our backyard and visit our ginormous, two-story rocking chair. Take some leisure time and play horseshoes and other yard games in our beautiful back patio area. We're not your average pizza joint. Unlike most restaurants-where customers come in, sit down, eat, and leave-we provide fun activities and things to do.

Love the pizza, the atmosphere, and the rocking chair! But most importantly is the owners and how wonderful they are. Craig sat down with us and talked with us about hunting, fishing, and other great things about the area that we were unaware of. We will definitely be stopping again when we get back out there.

Generally speaking they have very good pizza. Yesterday's visit was disappointing.
Pizza was dry (BBQ with cream cheese, chicken, beef.) Needed more sauce & I thought could have used more meat.
I still would say stop by and have some of their pizza. Pizza's we have had in past have been very good!
Our neighbors were with us and the artichoke pizza they had they said was very very good.

Our daughter needed a bathroom, we were kinda lost, and it was late. Found this place, by accident and it was the only thing open! They were SO NICE about us using the bathroom, when not planning to stay/eat--planned to keep moving and get back to the cabin. However, we decided to stay. SO GLAD!!! The pizza was INCREDIBLE, and the owners made you feel like old friends. Best "accidental", unplanned vacation experience! :)
