Claret Wood Designs was started by Michael Bihler with the vision of creating fine handcrafted writing instruments made from domestic and exotic woods and from a variety of colorful acrylics. The interest in working with wood quickly expanded into shaping beads and barrettes. The beads and shapes are all hand created by Michael, and his wife, Nancy, designs and turns them into the finished jewelry pieces and barrettes.
Wood necklaces are designed with our unique handmade laminated wooden beads. Mixed with our wood earrings and wooden bead bracelets, these fine handmade designer jewelry pieces make a wonderful 5th anniversary gift idea. Necklaces are mixed with gemstones on choice of 14k goldfilled or sterling silver wire with matching clasp and are approximately 25-26 in length.
Our hair sticks are handmade out of colorflul hardwood veneers. The veneers are laminated together and it gives our wooden hairsticks more strength and durability, and are guaranteed not to break. Each hair stick has a unique design and is a wearable piece of artwork. Hairsticks are available in plain or sculptured designs!
