Services
Bombay Room Yoga is a serene, quiet escape from the business of your life. We hold classes 7 days a week to accommodate your busy schedule. At Bombay, we aim to make yoga accessible to all, regardless of ability level, age, or any other physical limitations. Our studio is warm and inviting, and you will receive personalized attention from our dedicated, caring instructors.
When looking for a class that is a good fit for you, keep this in mind: almost all of our classes are appropriate for any level and, none of the classes at Bombay are heated. Our instructors are professionals who are trained and experienced working with all ability levels and offer modifications and challenges for each posture.
You may purchase classes at the front desk at Bombay or online. Drop in anytime, it is not necessary to sign in online prior to any regularly scheduled class. These packages are flexible, best for the student with a more unpredictable schedule, classes expire 6 months after purchase. Discover your best self with personalized instruction.
Arrive early enough to give yourself a few moments to sign in, to center yourself and relax before the class begins. 10-15 minutes before class time is recommended. Arriving late to class, even by a few moments, can be disruptive to other students and the instructor. It can also be unsafe to join a yoga class in session, as your body and muscles are not yet warm.
The beauty of a Vinyasa class is that there is no rulebook and no sequence that is set in stone. Movements are done, in succession, so that the student moves and flows from one posture to the next.
When the word "vinyasa" is used as a noun, for example, when an instructor says, "move through your vinyasa" it refers to 3 postures that are done as part of a sun salutation series: Plank, Chaturanga (low plank), and Upward Facing Dog, and usually followed by Downward Facing Dog.If these terms sound completely foreign to you, don't worry!

Michelle's beginner yoga class was amazing - during her class she shares her profound knowledge and yet has a more understandable application for her students to put it to use. Recently she said "Peace is an inside job" really hits home. She also shares intention and gives great suggestions during class. She said so much more too though that's just one little piece that's sticking for me for now.

From the first phone call to the last goodbye, the feeling I got from Michelle, other staff, and my instructor Shelby was of warmth, kindness, and personal acceptance. No judgements of my inexperience or lack of knowledge, just actions and words that spoke to my understanding of the true nature of yoga and compassion. The studio is zen-filled and peaceful, and I appreciated the availability of things to borrow as a newbie. Great location to the beach and the rest of north Fort Lauderdale. Thank you for creating a safe space for the pursuit of an enriched soul! Take care.

I love the energy and classes at Bombay room yoga studio. It's easy to see Michelle is passionate about yoga and sharing a yogic lifestyle with others. I enrolled in the virtual yoga retreat offered this may and I'm so happy I did! Diving deeper into the yamas and niyamas of yoga with group discussions, meditating and physical practices was wonderful. Meeting with other like-minded people during this period of self isolation instilled a feeling of connection that was greatly appreciated. I'm excited to see what other programs Bombay room offers online or virtually in the future!

We were down in Florida for an anniversary vacation and were staying at the Marriott Residence Inn just down the street. We joined Michelle for two classes and they were both fantastic! Her level of professionalism was outstanding and she made us feel like we were at home. Thank you for helping us really relax on our vacation! We highly recommend attending Michelle’s classes!

I do not have enough words, comments, and praise for this yoga studio. The owner is warm, welcoming, and friendly. The studio is small but beautiful and exceptionally clean. I am not an avid yogi but they seem to have all the props you need to complete various yoga classes comfortably & for free! I have done several classes here: yin, restorative, vinyasa, and a reiki session. All were incredible experiences. Most importantly, I don't feel judged or self-conscience if I'm not doing the poses correctly or following along as fast.

Went to my first sound healing restorative session. Amazing on all counts. Loved the entire journey. Thank you Michelle for doing what you do -bringing out peace and harmony from within. You played the bowls beautifully and the added touch of giving us a card personally picked by you was such a nice gift. I will always think of you when I read it. Namaste.

I was fortunate to be in the fort lauderdale area for a couple of days. So i booked for one weeks worth of classes and i was not disappointed.
I noticed the love that each instructor has for their yoga instruction and classes- from the vinyasa flows, sound nidras, yin & yangs, to restorative!
Thank you to all at bombay room yoga, im still reverberating light!!

I have been going to Bombay Room Yoga since 2013. I totally love the studio. I have been to every Yoga studio ocasionally and no one is as nice as Bombay. The teachers, the atmosphere, the owner Michelle, everybody is so kind. My practice there changed so many things in my life for much better than what already was;) Namastè

I've tried many yoga studios and this is the only one that keeps me coming back. The ambience is just perfect; it's clean and smells so lovely. Each instructor is super nice and welcoming. And something that is super important for me is that the classes never seem to have too many people so you're not bumping into each other. Each class and instructor offers a different level of expertise so keep that in mind when choosing a class.
