Integrating evidence-based practices with dignified care, our physicians and licensed clinicians are committed to providing each patient with personalized treatment. Our clinic specializes in mental health services (individual and group counseling), substance misuse treatment, relapse management, and criminal justice reform.

Experienced court coordinators that work in tandem with the Dallas area courts to expedite cases. IPS provides mental health and substance misuse treatment with an individualized, patient-focused approach. Our diverse treatment team includes clinicians and therapists that are licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services to intervene in both substance misuse and mental health disorders.
Services
The most effective treatment for opiate dependence is Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT). MAT has been show to facilitate recovery from substance use disorders and prevent relapse. MAT has been shown to improve patient survival, increase retention in treatment as well as increase patient's ability to gain and maintain employment following a decrease in illicit opiate use.
IPS created an effective outpatient program based on SAMSHA's evidence-based research and practices. Ideal candidates for intensive outpatient treatment have a safe home environment. If a person lives with other people who use drugs or drink, residential treatment is generally recommended to get the person away from these triggers for relapse.
IPS' evaluation process incorporates structured clinical observation and actuarial inventories to assess for both mental health and substance abuse. When needed, a Psychiatric Evaluation is performed by a medical professional to assess the participant's mental health stability and a psychiatric medication treatment regimen prescribed to aid in achieving treatment goals.
A psychoeducational group is a group therapy group conducted by a mental health professional that educates clients about their disorders and ways of coping. Psychoeducational groups utilize the group therapy process, where clients share their concerns and struggles with recovery with the group and facilitator comparable to other substance abuse groups.
Our Dallas based clinic provides wrap-around care, meaning our services extend beyond substance treatment and behavioral health. While our outpatient recovery emphasizes groups and individual counseling, we also ensure that our patients have resources to the local community like housing, food banks, job markets and more.

Very nice and efficiently run outpatient services they made the whole process seamlessly easy, and all my doctor's appointments are done through zoom, so I don't have to go anywhere so yeah it's an awesome program. Thank you to the staff

The company is poorly structured. The CEO was very disrespectful and need to go back and take classes on how to communicate with their staff. A manager shouldn’t put their staff on blast with 10 other people in a zoom meeting and tell them to talk when talked too. They don’t care about their employees. The intake manager was on the clock while at the bar and would get on us for coming in 5 min late because of traffic. As I worked there current employees were complaining to me about how poorly management is. They care more about money coming in than they do the people working for them. It’s

I'm sure the clinical staff are wonderful. However, please train your office staff better. I called this morning to get a couple of forms completed for my employer. Because it was urgent, I asked to speak to someone I had already spoken to last week about my family member who is the patient. She was not friendly, had no telephone skills, told me she couldn't put me through to anyone and that I would have to fax my paperwork in. It would be completed in 2-4 weeks. When she gave me the fax number, I wrote it down, and repeated it back and guess what? It wasn't correct. So now I've lost yet another

The worst customer service experience EVER! From the moment I called to get information prior to my appointment, a representative named Latoya was quite unprofessional and rude. While asking questions, this employee continued to exhale loudly in a rude manner as if annoyed by the two questions asked.
After arriving to the location and checking in at 1:40 PM on 05/23 for a 1:45 appointment, I was instructed to inform an employee named Bianca in the intake office that I would like to speak with a manager. In doing so, Bianca failed to provide me with the necessary Manager Request Form, so that I

The negative reviews on here kind of make me angry. IPS is a wonderful organization- consistently organized, efficient, and smoothly run. I’m taking IOP classes here and really like my group leader, Ambris. If I had to make one change- I do believe the IOP program is too long and too involved- it requires a lot of your time, almost to the point of defeating the purpose. However, hey, I’m not the expert. I’m sure there’s a reason for this. I’m also in their MAT program, which has literally been a lifesaver. Special shout out to Dr. Stella- the most caring, wonderful doctor I’ve ever

IPS is great. It's mostly government funded, so patience is mandatory when visiting, but the staff is great. I've been going here on and off for 4 years. I go for MAT and psych services. The doctors are doing wonderful work, given the limited resources they are provided. The staff has to deal with idiots all day, everyday, so to still greet you with a smile is amazing. I recommend IPS to anyone I feel needs their services!

Contrary to the criticisms listed below, I have found that the staff and the practitioners were not only VERY cooperative, but they exhibit great compassion and professionalism. These folks have a tough job; addicts are not the easiest folks to please or get along with. The truth of the matter is this: most of us are here on the county mental health system's dime. There are plenty of health care facilities where patients get lost in the bureaucratic red-tape. In the 7 or 8 months I've been a client with IPS, I've been treated with respect, dignity, and patience. To the staff of IPS, my SINCERE

You need only go to believe
The rating will become obvious once you see the environment these good and caring professionals must contend with to help people who are as ready to deal with their addictions.
They can be a little curt but it's plainly clear why once past that phase nothing but true honest care and compassion.
I entered their free out-patient program for opioid addiction and am clean now 2 yrs.
I truly benefited from their devoted commitment to help.
If you truly want help they will provide it professionally if you also act appropriately.
