Jessica Minton is an L.A. native who has been styling hair professionally in Southern California since 2005. After working at Salon Rebelle in the Orange Circle, being a passionate educator for Carlton Hair International, and building a devoted clientele at the well established Cartel Hair in Santa Ana, she opened Jessica Minton Hair Salon in 2015.
From behind the chair, to freelance ventures and glamorous weddings, Jessica has done it all and is excited to offer a wide range of salon services in her very own space. Inspired by runway looks, painting, and folk music, Jessica was a teenage home haircut guru long before she became a professional.

I have thick hair, long hair, and curly hair. It can be unwieldy, and I've come out of top rated salons with bad/weird haircuts. There's just a lot to manage.
Jessica did a beautiful job cutting my curls with scissor. It's been two weeks since my appointment with her, and the more time passes the more I realize what a seriously good job she did. I think it's going to be a cut that will also grow out beautifully.
She cut it pretty quickly, which kind of made me nervous -- my thick hair usually can't be managed in less than an hour. But now I think she just had an integral

I have had my hair done by Jessica many times in many different colors. She has made me a natural blonde through highlights, balayage, and now melting. A platinum blonde, and even silver and pink. Each time she makes sure my hair stays healthy during the process and I am always happy when I leave. She listens to me when I tell her how much hair I want cut. She is a real professional who is always learning new techniques and expanding her expertise.

It's always extremely nerve racking going to someone new and trusting them with your hair. Jessica was the first person I immediately felt comfortable with and knew she would do magic to my hair. She always exceeds my expectations and now that I no longer live in the area, I always make sure I have an appointment with her when I'm in town. Every time I have an appointment I look forward to hanging out with Jessica, she makes it so fun and relaxing.
She also has exceptional customer service...if for some reason your hair doesn't turn out how you expected a few weeks or even months

I wasn't sure on what I wanted and Jessica was great about it, she played around with different colors and toners to get me to something I loved. I did three sessions in 3 weeks and my hair still feels healthy and great! Definitely will keep coming back here!! My hair pigment was strong so I had to do 3 sessions to lighten it.

Jessica is seriously the best!
I am a hairstylist, on hiatus after having my baby, so I would know a good hairdresser. There are very few people that I completely trust with my hair and Jessica is at the top of that list. Jessica is always seeking out the latest and greatest education. She uses only the best high end color and styling products leaving my blonde hair feeling amazing! Jessica is probably the most honest stylist I've ever met. She gives you honest feedback and never lets you have unrealistic expectations when you show her an inspiration photo. I've been so freaking happy

This was the worst experience I've ever had with a hair stylist at age 52. Not only is she rude she did not hear anything that I wanted her to do. All I asked for was highlights and roots and she took it upon herself to completely change the color of my hair where I ended up with a 2 inch strip of brown in between my blonde highlights at my part. I recommend you stay away from the stylist as she will Do you whatever she wants with your hair not what you want her to do. Take a look at the pictures. She has no idea how to color hair!!!! Just awful, I could've done this at home with a box

Jessica Minton has been my stylist for almost 7 years! I'm naturally brunette and she's taken my from blonde, to pink, back to blonde, back to brunette, and now with an adorable lob! I trust her with every single one of crazy hair ideas. I always get compliments because of her. She is my stylist for life. She loves what she does and will work all day to get you the look you want. For 19 years I had the same hair stylist, so needless to say, when I was searching for a new hair stylist down here I had a long checklist and very high expectations and lots and lots of nerves. Well Jessica exceeded ALL of my expectations and managed to clam all of my nerves!!! So let me start off by saying, I went to see hannah at Jessica Minton salon and I COULD NOT be more obsessed with my hair. I had been going to the same hair stylist for the past 10 years and was very happy with her, but decided to make the jump. I have been going to Jessica for 9 years. I have followed her faithfully (even flew intercontinental for a period of time just to still go to her) because she is truly the BEST!!! I have had stylists, co-workers, friends, and family ask where I get my color done because she does such amazing work!! Jessica is a true artist. I absolutely love the way she highlights my hair. I'm a natural blonde & tend to have lots of golden/yellow undertones. She brightens it up & tones it to a perfect light ashy blonde that lasts. ( I've gone 6 months w/o seeing her & still receive compliments on my color)

Jessica did my wedding hair and I LOVED the results. Not only did it look beautiful and have exactly the right mix of traditional and not quite traditional that I wanted, but it stayed perfectly in place ALL night. I had a an up-do but wanted it to look soft and romantic. I have no idea how she managed to make such a soft look with flow stay completely secure through hours of dancing!

Jessica is flippin' awesome. I cut 15-20 inches off of my hair, so it was a big deal, but she made me feel so comfortable. The environment in her salon is so pleasing and chic. I had such great conversations with them and felt like a friend rather than a client right when I stepped through the door. She's so honest in a hilarious way, and I am thrilled with my new hair.

Jessica is I feel is the best in the Orange County area. I moved to California from NY back in September 2015 and I was looking for a new hairstylist, I ended up buying a groupon for her for a haircut. She gave me a really good cut and even put glaze in my hair. I then came to her a couple of months later to go shorter and she did such a good job on my hair, I have thick hair so she used a technique to get my hair thinner! Well now I moved near Sacramento and I took a flight down this weekend so I can get my hair done by her and I am obsessed with the balayage she did! Wouldn't go anywhere

First things first - let it be known that prior to my visit to Jessica's salon, I had virgin hair. I've never dyed it before and I'm as low maintenance as a girl can get. I've been meaning to dye my hair for awhile now but I finally decided to go for it. I came across a picture on IG with a color I really loved and showed it to Jessica. She and her assistant, Jasmine, immediately got to work on what colors they should use to achieve that same dark burgundy/purple color I was looking for.

Not only is Jessica super talented, she is very friendly and caring. Her color game is amazing and she has a great eye for style. I have been going to Jessica for years at all her previous salons and I am so glad that she finally has her own shop. It is super clean, she offers beverages and also has great art and jewelry. Her products that she suggests is always spot on. You must go make an appointment!
