What a gem! We went here for lunch with our three year old and were at first a little intimidated by how surprisingly nice it was inside, unsure if our kid would be welcome. Let me say, this is one of the most kid friendly restaurants I have been to. The owner brought out some toys for our daughter to play with and the kids menu had a fantastic selection with quality food, not just cheap junk like some places. We had a five-star experience at Simply Delicious high tea. The occasion was a special day out for me to get to know my daughter's best friends.
The girls got adult-sized portions, special gift bags to take home (jewelry and a nice stuffed animal), and desserts with extra frosting. They were very accommodating in helping us rinse out tea we didn't like to start a new cup (one eventually went to lemonade).
I should mention the tea is served "American", that is, with tea bags instead of looseleaf. They have fancy guest hats if you don't bring your own, cucumber sandwiches, fruit tarts. In other
