My husband and I needed assistance today with our car. He found out that the starter was going bad and the car was shutting off. I immediately went on google and did some research. I came across Tuffy Auto and due to their reviews and customer service, I called and spoke to Ryan who was kind and very understanding. My husband took the car over and got it done within no time. Very disappointed that this franchise location elected to not accept my Extended Warranty. The excuse they gave is because they said they had payment problems from them in the past. Since this company pays by Credit Card before the vehicle is released, and it is a national company, and I have been dealing with them for years with no complaints, I doubt Tuffy's statement. My experience has been that a claims adjuster for an extended warranty knows exactly what should be repaired and exactly what it should cost. This means that a repair facility cannot overcharge you or recommend work unnecessary

I was told by another professional that my brakes were ready to be replaced and recommended that I not wait too long. I brought my car to Tuffy in Wesley Chapel and told them to go ahead and replace the front and back brakes. An hour later they called to tell me that my brakes were fine, that they are only at 40% and that I should wait. I never would had known if they went ahead and did the job, you just can't overlook such honesty and professionalism these days. This is not the first time I've use Tuffy and it will defiantly not the last. They will always be my go to auto service supplier!
