Ely J. Rosenzveig has been practicing law with distinction for nearly 30 years. Ely received his Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan School of Law in 1985. For many years, Ely was a senior partner at a leading elder law firm. Ely also is an ordained rabbi, earning his rabbinic degree from Yeshiva University in 1984.

A last will & testament is a legal document that provides instructions for the distribution of your assets after your death. A will can also name a guardian if you have minor children, and can include, what are called "ethical will" provisions related to values, and deeply felt wishes to pass on to future generations.
A power of attorney is a legal document that permits the creator of the document (known as the "principal") to name one or more agents (or "attorney(s)-in-fact") to act for him or her. Specifically, the principal delegates the management of his or her legal and financial affairs to the agent(s). A durable power of attorney takes effect immediately upon the agent's acceptance of their authority.

It is always a difficult thing to have to plan for the future care of your loved ones. My case was no exception. Overwhelmed with thoughts of the what if this or what if that consumed me. In addition to...ugh I have to deal with lawyers, which I was extremely apprehensive about doing. However, this Law firm, Ely J.
