The actual inspection itself was adequate. Since the inspection I have been bombarded with spam emails from their affiliate links attempting to sell all sorts of insurance, or other scam like products. If you do have to use Blue Lobster make it clear up front to not share your info with any affiliates, unless you're into that. Also, use a burner email to be sure.

I hired Blue Lobster to inspected a prospective investment property for me. Matt was very thorough and even crawled into spaces that I would not do even if it was well lite and recently cleaned. I am in the middle of buying my first home - alone, which is stressful enough. Matt came through for me with two days notice and was absolutely what I needed to ease some stress. He identified some issues that are now being addressed (still in process as of writing). I have high standards for attention to detail and it was totally evident when I met him and saw him crawling everywhere and documenting details. The turnaround time was ridiculous - by the time I got home from the new house, I already had a detailed report with pictures. I enthusiastically recommend Matt without hesitation.

Great experience working with Matt. We had the pleasure of working with him twice on two different homes. The first inspection revealed a number of serious structural issues with the house. Matt was willing to stop the inspection and charge half price because it was clear there were too many structural issues present to move forward with purchasing the house. We then worked with him again on our second house. The latter inspection was fortunately much less eventful, yet was extremely informative. He takes a lot of photos and videos during the inspection. He then generates a very detailed report
