My home inspection service is a concentrated effort to gather and provide information about the condition of a dwelling. It is also designed to point out any visible safety concerns. My service is a visual inspection of the dwelling and can only provide conditions of the systems and components as they were on the day of the inspection.
When you hire me to do an inspection, I will provide you with accurate information about the house. 1. Observation- I will make observations of the systems and components of the dwelling and identify the things I think need attention. 2. Concern- I will state why I have identified these things and explain the problems and possible consequences associated with them.
There are many things that affect the cost of a home inspection. My rates are competitive, especially given the quality of the service I provide. It's not possible in every case to accurately list a price for any given job without knowing specific details. The risk of misleading you about any aspect of a home inspection, including the cost, is one that I don't want to take.

John performed 2 home inspections for me during my house hunting journey. John responded to my online quote requests within a few hours. John arrived early to the houses and explained everything in detail and provided excellent feedback. The inspection reports were provided the same night that he completed the inspections. I have moved house a few times in the last 5 years and was never that impressed with the inspectors used previously. I found John searching on google and saw he had multiple reviews all positive so I booked him.
He responded straight back and today was the inspection day. John was by far the most thorough inspector I have had. Every inch looked at. He did not rush.

John Dirk is wonderful. He was flexible with timing and does a superb and thorough job inspecting a home. I would recommend him to anyone. His prices are more than reasonable and additional inspections such as termite, etc. are very "doable" given the high expense of buying a home in this area.
In a few years, I plan to have him come back out to do an inspection before renting out this home.

I bought my home in March and John performed an inspection of the townhouse I now own in late January of last year (2014), so this review is long overdue.
