Services
If you give us a chance, we will show you how amazing our Five Star family is. As you get strong and physically fit, you'll start to see some changes that most of our students didn't know would happen. Especially the younger ones. They are totally amazed by the subtle changes that happen when you train in our programs.
Martial Arts have been an amazing tool for teaching children to become more focused, confident, and disciplined for over 2,000 years! This helps them get better grades, have higher self-esteem, improves health & fitness, and teaches them to defend themselves. Our North Syracuse Kids Martial Arts program will help your child reach their full potential.
Even though our teens work, train and practice hard, we make sure they have lots of FUN in every class! How do we do that? We teach them in ways that kids learn best - with fun mat chats, inspirational stories and positive reinforcement. Our center is a great place for kids to be kids and have fun, where they can socialize with other kids, make friends and gain the support and confidence they need to excel in life.
By logging in to your Myzone account through the Myzone App, you'll be able to see minute-by-minute breakdowns of your exercise effort. Track your progress over time to gain more understanding about your workout habits. Drop-in and take a class. We also have 5 and 10 class punchcards. Most people find they have an absolute addiction to Spin Boxing-that's when a monthly UNLIMITED option becomes the best option.

The team at Five Star is nothing short of AMAZING ! I started my 7 year old and they help her one on one when needed and are so nice. My little who is only 3 wanted to try and while she is young they are so supportive of working with us to try and get her to go on the mats (with out me 🤞🏼). Over all best place we have been to !!

I have 3 kids that attend Five Star and they love it. All the instructors have awesome postive mindsets that is contagious. They teach my kids about the the qualities important to get them through life. Respect, leadership, discipline, postive attitude, and to have fun. I love having my kids there i am considering starting myself on the journey to a black belt!!

The instructors are incredible, they are very good with children and truly care about them. It has a family feel that is very welcoming to both new and existing students. They work to develop the students physically and mentally. I highly recommend this school for anyone looking for a karate school.

I've been a student at Five Star Martial Arts for a few months. After watching my 4 year old going through the Little Dragons program for over a year, I decided it was time for me to finish what I started 20 years ago and work towards earning my black belt. The classes are fun and you really work hard! The instructors are knowledgeable and care about each individual's success. I am happy to have my family as part of the Five Star Martial Arts family!!

My son has been attending Five Star for about a year and we have had a wonderful experience. My son's coordination and confidence have grown, and it has given him a very positive way to get out some extra energy. The staff is welcoming and encouraging, while offering structure. This is a very family-friendly studio that I would highly recommend to anyone!

Five Star Martial Arts is a great place to go when it comes to karate and self defense for kids. I have seen nothing but positive results within both of my children who are presently taking classes there. They make the classes fun for everyone but they are also very "to the point" with what is to get done with the technique, forms, and sparring. I have heard nothing but the best about them before my oldest joined and till this day, Five Star is still Nothing but the best! I wouldn't take my kids anywhere else.
