Stepping Stones Preschool at Castle Rock offers a Montessori based program with the philosophy of developmental learning through discovery, an approach based on respect for each child as an individual, as well as on a sensitivity to each child's way of learning. Children learn, grow and acquire skills as they play.

Services
Stepping Stones Preschool is a place for children to take charge of their learning and explore at their own pace while engaging in activities that fascinate them. Each child is individually loved, cared for, and taught by Ms. Carolyn. Children are encouraged to be creative, to develop self awareness and to be kind to each other.
Carolyn Gordon received her certification for Montessori Early Childhood education and has been teaching Montessori based preschool since 2014. She has also completed the 48 credit hr training in Expanding Quality in Infant Toddler Care (EQUIT) provided by the Colorado Department of Education in conjunction with the Colorado Department of Human Services Division of Child Care.
Annual registration fee is $100 a student or $150 per family with multiple students enrolled in the program. A minimum of 4 students is required to open a class. Based on enrollment, Stepping Stones reserves the right to cancel a class or adjust a child's classroom placement. We would love to give you a tour so you can see if Stepping Stones Preschool is a good fit for your family.
You may enroll in the program at anytime throughout the school year if there is an opening. If there is no opening, you can be placed on a wait list. Please note that your child must be at least 3 years old to enroll in the Pre-K program. All children must be potty-trained to attend. If you are new to Stepping Stones Preschool please bring these with you when you come and tour the classroom.

The Policies and Procedures Handbook is for you to keep; we will go over all of the policies and procedures together during our interview.

Mrs. Gordon is such a wonderful teacher! I am amazed at the level of intentionality that she puts toward the children’s education! She makes the learning experience and atmosphere extremely fun and exciting. My daughters favorite is the imagination station that changes weekly depending on what they are learning about. If you are looking for a smaller, more intimate class setting for your preschooler Stepping Stones Preschool is perfect for you!
