This Inn is conveniently located near some restaurants and shops like Pearlys (walking distance).
The staff is helpful and the check-in/check-out process was easy. Our room was located in the courtyard area near the outdoor seating for the restaurant. The room was clean and cozy, however the walls are thin so you can hear almost everything outside. It didn't bother us much because the noise was during reasonable hours and it did not disturb our sleep. Their valet service was closed due to COVID, however there is street parking and other garages near by.

A terrible customer experience. A dog barking in an adjacent room for 2 hours. No action by staff taken. I paid money to not be able to rest. Unfortunate as your hotel is otherwise very nice. Your desk clerk took no action and informed me that she could do nothing and that the I could just ask for a discount in the morning. That is a small consolation for no sleep.

The queen suite rooms are considerably smaller then the other rooms, pretty much a door room vs a apartment, almost knocked the TV over trying to put the ironing board out, bathroom had hair all over the tub, moldy ceiling tiles, you can hear the water whenever anyone uses water in that part of the building. No cleaning services, which I guess is a sign of the times, but feels like the hotel just being cheap. Could not access my room for good part of the evenings because of weddings going on directly in front of it. No dry cleaning services as advertised.

Such a beautiful place! We only stayed one night but we are already planning another trip early next year for my birthday. When I booked here it was our last night of our honeymoon which I had mentioned. When we arrived they upgraded our room to a suite which was so wonderful. We stayed in 2 other hotels/inns during our honeymoon and no one else did anything special for us. Thank you!
The parlor suite we stayed in was beautiful! The bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was super clean. We sat in the rocking chairs outside our door on the porch and had our coffee in the morning. My husband

A very charming historical hotel. I loved the antique decor in my room AND the fact that I had all the modern conveniences, like a great AC to beat the Richmond summer heat, and fast wifi. The corridors are charming, as well, and I sat in the rocking chair outside my room for some time enjoying the evening. Very friendly staff, as well - particularly the night desk staff!

Staff was polite, the room was nice. Having a housekeeping background I did have a few recommendations considering the price and the quality. Our mattress in 415 could use a new mattress protector. As well as some pillow protectors and the correct size pillow case. We had queen pillows on a king bed with king cases. If out of the correct size then maybe tuck the pillow case inside. It just looks sloppy when you hide the excess behind the pillow. And gives the guest the impression that the room was rushed for turnover meaning other things were missed. And finally the wall behind the trash can could

Not fair to rate it during covid but we were there a week and room was not cleaned. Had to go to desk for towels and toilet paper. Sometimes had to wait in line. We had to empty trash cans and clean the place ourselves. The restaurant was open only randomly. The art being displayed in the lobby was bizarre and totally out of line with the decor. Skulls with flowers growing in the eye sockets? Come on! Asked for a shower cap and was told they have none. A first class hotel would have small things like that. Toilet seat was broken and very, very low. The marble floor in the bathroom was

We did not have a great stay at the Linden Row Inn. We called 3 times to confirm connecting rooms. When we arrived, we were told that our rooms were not ready yet, to come back at 3 (we arrived at 2 in an absolute torrential downpour). Internet did not work in the lobby and it was still pouring buckets outside so we had nothing to do but sit and wait (which we explained to the desk person). We ate lunch in the hotel to pass the time since we were too wet to try to walk someplace else. When we went back at 3, we were told that the initial person who checked us had assigned us the wrong rooms despite

Wowzers! This hotel was amazing! My husband and I booked a queen room in the garden. The room was small, but very comfortable. Nice bed, pillows, and amazing plush towels. It was raining so we didn't sit in the garden, but rather on the covered porch. Not sure we were supposed to sit on the porch as I couldn't tell if the porch seating was for a specific room. Street parking was challenging as the layout of the downtown roads with the bike lane and parking in the middle of the street during non rush hour made it confusing as to whether where we parked would cause us to get towed between

Found this place online and the price was competitive and the reviews were spectacular so we decided it would be a nice place to stay. Staff is professional and helpful. The room was clean, classy and in very good repair. The entire place is so old and interesting around every corner. We spent a lot of time having a drink from the bar outside in the courtyard that has tables and very nice landscaping, beautiful nighttime lighting and nice shade trees. The brick patterns are so lovely. Within walking distance to restaurants and theres a parking garage two blocks away. What a charming little hotel

These people are responsible for one of the worst customer service experiences of all time. After researching on the web for a nice downtown Richmond hotel with secure valet parking (we were loaded down with cargo) we arrived at 10:30 PM only be told that valet parking had been temporarily suspended. We were told to go find a parking garage. This is unacceptable. That secure parking was a dealbreaker. We did not even check in. We asked for a refund and were told we would have to contact Priceline. We left and had to find another hotel on the spur of the moment in the middle of the night in downtown

This hotel is just delightful! I stayed on the second floor and while I did hear music from the courtyard (and there's a wedding reception tonight), it quiets down at a decent hour. The location is great, right in the middle of town, and the people at the front desk were so friendly and helpful. The restaurant was fantastic - cozy but not cramped, delicious food, and wonderful service. There was street parking, but I used a lot a short walk away that was only $7 a day and all the in and out you want. I did have to wait a minute for a spot to open up on Saturday afternoon because you can only

We had a very nice visit to Richmond and stayed at Linden Row Inn. We were given an upgrade to a king room on the 4th floor. So kind of them! It was clean and had all that you would need in a hotel room. Yes, it is an old historic property. It is like a grand sophisticated lady who is a bit down on her luck. The staff were all helpful and know the city well. The new restaurant that is in the hotel is Parterre. We wanted to try it out, but we came on a day that it was closed.

We only stayed one night, but I have a lot to say about this place.
First the PROS:
-wonderfully quaint old building, cool living room style indoor space and even better outdoor space
-the courtyard area is spectacular, and the upper floors have awesome decks with shared rocking chairs overlooking the courtyard
-the location was downtown, seemingly right on the edge of a seedy part of town, but the area around the hotel was nice
-the rooms are huge, tall ceilings, , big windows, lot of character
Now the CONS:
-the beds were a JOKE! They literally put full size mattresses onto twin size bed frames

Loved this experience! My friend and I stayed here overnight this weekend and have nothing but good things to say! While some reviews mention the thin walls, I'd like to say that this is a historic inn and that was to be expected. It did not bother me one bit.
We were actually upgraded for free due to a wedding on property and the room we had was large and seemed very clean.
The inn itself was extremely cute! The garden and balconies just had such an adorable feel. We also ate at the restaurant attached for brunch and it was delicious!
With the pandemic still afoot, we felt very safe

The Linden Row Inn is a piece of Richmond's history. The Lobby is beautifully decorated like a comfortable living room, the guest rooms have been updated with a nice old world charm, and the restaurant on site is a delicious offering all day and a wonderful option for a late night cap. Highly recommend!!

I love the charm of this hotel. The Lindon Row Inn is in an excellent location within walking distance to great restaurants (Wong Gonzalez, Secret Sandwich Society and Urban Hang Suite). The on-site restaurant (Parterre) was a great option for morning coffee/snacks and also appetizers and a glass of wine or beer after a long day of meetings. The Brussel sprouts & chickpeas were delicious! The shuttle was convenient to get to & from meetings and travels within 2 miles of the hotel. All staff were friendly and welcoming. It was nice to return to the hotel and see a friendly face saying "

I was so pleased with our stay here. The charm of this place outweighed the very small room with a buzzing fridge. It's just beautiful here. Lovely lobby. It can't be compared to staying in a regular hotel. The courtyard is wonderful- I wish we had been here in warm weather.
Our room was small but so charming and clean. The bathroom was modern and large though, great shower.
The staff was very friendly. Urban Farmhouse Market and Cafe is right there inside which is wonderful. We got coffee at checkout time.
I can't wait to stay here again.
