Since 1993, the team at Brian's Transmission & Auto Repair has been providing honest and straightforward mechanic services. I'm Mike Davis, a third-generation mechanic and transmission expert. While most toddlers were busy playing with rattles, I was exploring my father's tools. I was hired by Brian in 2005, and when he was ready to retire, I took over the shop.
I have over 40 years of hands-on experience with automobiles, and I work hard to provide customers with the great service everyone has come to expect from Brian's. Unless your vehicle requires premium gasoline, filling up your vehicle with high-octane gas is a waste of money. The premium gas doesn't boost your gas mileage or performance. If you're not sure what grade works best for your vehicle, your owner's manual will tell you. You can also ask your mechanic what grade to use.

Stay away!! Took my car in for transmission issues. They sold me a reman trans with a 3 year warranty. Among other things I noticed wire clips broken and wires not installed in proper location after the install.. so I've been skeptical from the start. One year later I'm having transmission problems now and they can't figure it out... they cleared the codes an said the trans needs time to relearn.... A month later I'm having the same issues.. they put a spark plug and ignition coil on with out my consent.. told me it would fix the problem... I had the codes checked before I dropped it off... It

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value
My husband went there to have a part put on his car. They wrote down his number wrong, didn’t do what he asked them to do and even though the guy said yeah he could do it. Waste of my husbands time. Definitely won’t be going back there or recommending it to anyone.

Recently moved to the area, my husband had his truck serviced there and had no issues, so I made an appointment for an oil change on my car. Just an oil change. They finished and told me the bill was $83.00. FOR AN OIL CHANG only! Really??? I was flabbergasted so then the cashier claimed it was because it was synthetic oil. This isn’t my first oil change in my life- there is no way an oil change is over 80.00. Even the dealership does a tire rotation, check battery, fluids and filter with an oil change for less than 50 bucks. The cashier lowered the price but I still ended up paying over 60.00

I took my vehicle to Brian's for some warrenty work on my transmission. Mike and his staff were very friendly and knowledgeable but also very straight forward. It took longer that expected (red tape and all) but in the end I got my car fixed up right for a very fair price.
I would definitely refer them to anybody who needed transmission work. They're the best.

Took my car in for hard shifting and grinding noises. Dropped off my car and left them to do what they needed. They never called me to tell me the issues so I called them. They said they found no issues. I said I'll just come pick it up. They "lost" my hubcaps during the test drive. I drove cross country with them never had an issue. They also proceeded to tell me my exhaust now has a leak. So now they are charging me for "shop supplies" when they damaged my vehicle further during their joyride. I'm out $32 for "shop supplies", $80 hubcaps along with my $60 exhaust repair I just did because they

Deffinately will be going back! mike won me over lol he did research and put in a few extra hours to figure out what the real problem was and did not attempt fixing until he was positive! He has time to talk to… you about it and just hold a normal conversation and not make a lady feel stupid!!! Thanks a ton mike. Truck is running perfect and starting perfect after the gas is pumped! I’ve been bringing my cars to Brian’s for years now. Mike is honest, hard working and always takes great care of me and my vehicles. I’ve had everything done here from general maintenence and repairs like hub… assembly replacement, electrical work, fixing window switches, tune ups, oil changes, transmission repair and replacement and even engine replacement. They’ve done all of those things and more and I’ve always been satisfied with the results! I highly recommend using them for anything you need repaired on your vehicle.
